Story
Luna is 6-7 years old. He was given up by x-brother in-law and since my divorce I had to take care of her with no proper space. She spends a lot of the time in the kennel and I work 12 hours out of the day and live alone. She is not in a ethical suited location or situation. I do not have a yard big enough for her or a fenced area for her. She needs someplace to go.

Story
Cleitus is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix. My husband and I got him when he was 8 weeks old. He is such a lover and loves to snuggle, cuddle, and play with his humans. Cleitus does not do well with other dogs at all. He is house broken and knows the “sit” and “stay” commands. We had a baby girl 13 months ago. Prior to that, Cleitus was our baby. He has developed quite the jealousy towards the baby. He does not understand his size and is not gentle with her and does not understand staying out of her space. He has always done very well with my husband and I and older children. He is protective of our home and us, as is in the nature of the breed. But he is a lot of bark and no bite, unless you are another four-legged friend. Our family simply does not have the funds or time to spend on him anymore since our baby girl came into the world. We want to see our baby go to a good home with no other dogs, just adults or older children. We think he might do great on a farm.

Story
Barney was adopted from a CAREStl two years ago. He is a great dog and loves everyone he meets. He does have some behavioral issues and will benefit from someone with experience working with large dogs with kennel anxiety. He takes daily meds for anxiety. He is fearful of nail trims and will lash out at things he doesn't understand or fears. He loves to snuggle. He is a big boy and doesn't realize his size, so probably not ideal for anyone with small children or an elderly household. We love Barney and have done all we can to give him a wonderful life. He would thrive with an individual who has the time to help him work through his anxiety issues.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    D2026037  Oh Master Splinter, (he was Gizmo but we changed his name for his new start).  This boy needs a special home.  He needs a home to decompress.  Splinter came to us from an animal control where his owner had to sign him over due to unforeseen circumstances.  Splinter was in a home with other dogs and he has been good around the other dogs here at RCHS.  He was afraid of the cats and cautious around the volunteers.  Splinter has not shown any aggression.  With all this said, Splinter will need a home who understands its going to take some work for him to trust you.  He wants to love and be loved.  Are you the perfect person to melt Splinter's shell and show him the love he deserves? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All ADOPTERS  MUST PLEASE..... ALL Pre-Adopt must be filled out FIRST and  COMPLEATLY to be considered.  ****  Any Incomplete Pre-Adopts will not be considered,  We are Volunteers and our time is very important to us also and we cannot waist it on  incomplete adoption applications.  Please be respectful and sensitive to our time we give to these animals and our mission to save lives. ALL of us  at RCHS work very hard to save these precious lives, and our only pay we get as volunteers, is a GOOD HOME LIFE for them, we all are volunteers, so please be patient and considerate of our time and responses.
