Story
Teddy is a very kind, kid friendly dog who loves to play but also loves to lounge around and relax. He is about 2 years old and 60lbs and has a silly clumsy personality that will make you laugh. He is very affectionate and loves to give licks to all his friends. He will bask in any attention you give him. His calm temperament and fairly quiet nature makes him a great companion, in and out of the home. He is kennel trained but would love a home that has friends to play with!

Story
Scooter is a farm dog and very Border Collie behavior. He does not fit our family due to having an autistic child in the home. He is very energetic and excitable but very friendly. He deserves a home with someone that can spend the time with him and include him in daily life. He is trainable, knows sit, shake, stay, and is treat motivated. He is goofy, silly, and very lovable. Once he's comfortable with his owner he is a good boy, it will take someone who can be the dominant person.

Story

This sweet boy came from the armpit of Missouri, our favorite place to help dogs from.  Astro has gained a few pounds of weight over the last few weeks and energy has increased along with it. He is looking healthier and happier each day.  He went in to get neutered and X-rays on his back hip/leg.  The vet found a very broken Ischium bone on the back right side.  We are about 95% positive Astro was hit by a car shortly before animal control picked him up.  It requires a very hard impact to break this bone.  He is a few weeks into the healing process and already showing improvement.  His tail is regaining function, he is now placing weight on that foot, standing tall on it, running, jumping, and wrestling around with his best friend, Meeko.  The vet assured me it will heal like any broken bone does, and will not impact his abilities.  Astro has learned “go to your crate” or “bedtime”, “sit”, and “wait” - all within 3 weeks! He has only had 2 accidents In the house (one of the right after we got him and another one which was my kids fault for letting him out of his crate in the morning but not outside).  Astro gets overly excited at meal time, but allows me to put the food down and “waits” for us to tell him it’s ok to eat.   He has taken multiple walks on a leash, walking side by side - not pulling.  He has been friendly to all men, women, and children that have come into my household.  He has a deep bark when warming me of strangers nearby - I.e. the delivery man.  He enjoys being in the yard to play or relax in the fresh air.  He is a freak for toys! This boy loves them all! Ropes, hard plastic, bones, squeakers - you name it, he is ready to play!  Loves to cuddle in bed or on the couch in your lap.  Most importantly - he has not shown any unbecoming behaviors since bringing him into my home and has made Meeko his most loved buddy, showing me he can play with other dogs (other male dogs) without issues.  Astro is now ready for applications! He was recently swabbed for DNA background and we are patiently awaiting the results to see what his dominate breeds are.  Right now thinking a black lab/pit mix. He is a medium size, at 53lbs - and expected to gain another 15lbs. He is 3.5 years old. This sweet dude is ready for love! application required to meet Astro! Story
We adopted Odin in March 2022, when he was estimated to be about one year old. Odin is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being outside, playing with balls, and getting belly rubs. He enjoys companionship and is very loving with people he trusts. When Odin joined our family, we already had a small dog and two cats, and he has always gotten along well with them. He does, however, have some behavioral challenges. Odin can be timid and anxious, especially around unfamiliar people and animals. He struggles with new people entering his space too quickly and may react defensively when overwhelmed, though he is not aggressive by nature. Odin has some resource-guarding tendencies too, mainly with food, which we manage by feeding him in his crate. He can also be possessive of attention around other animals. With the recent addition of a toddler to our home, there have been a few close-call situations, and we feel it is in Odin’s best interest to be rehomed.
