Story

Nova is a 1 year old Foxhound/German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix who would make a phenomenal companion for an active person or family. She loves the beach, she gets along well with some specific dogs, and she does well with older kids. Nova has a high prey drive. It is not recommended that she go to a home with chickens or other birds. She has been sweet and respectful to her family’s elderly Chihuahua. It is unknown if she likes cats. Nova is crate trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash (but she prefers a fenced in yard). She does have a herding instinct. Shes spayed, up to date on shots, and in good health. Shes affectionate but not needy and is happy to sit next to you on the couch. Nova would do best in an environment where her people are home often, as she is on Prozac for her anxiety. She is a fast learner and very athletic. She is not a big barker but she can howl a bit if she feels lonely. Nova is currently located in Raleigh, NC. She weighs about 50 pounds

Kady, aka Pup Pup, is the sweetest 2 year old lab mix. She has been with us almost 2 years now. While Pup is quite an amazing little dog, she keeps getting attacked by our bigger dogs. This is due to no fault of her own! She is very playful, obedient, and snuggly - but our other larger dogs just cannot accept her. We have kept them separated but it is not fair to anyone, and Pup is the most likely to find a new, wonderful home. We will only allow a home who will let her sleep in bed with you. Pup is quite the diva and loves to feel special! She will nudge you for pets and paw you for love. She is a good eater and knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. She is fully potty trained. Her birthday is estimated to be 10/2/22. Please consider Pup as she is outstanding with children and adults alike and very friendly to other dogs. She is used to a fenced in yard but potties well on a leash and needs a warm human's bed at night.
