Story
Meet our sweet boy 🐾 He’s a 60 lb pit bull–type terrier mix with the gentlest personality. He is incredibly loving, great with kids, and gets along well with other pets. He absolutely loves cuddling just as much as he enjoys playing outside and being active. He’s the kind of dog that just wants to be near his people and be part of the family. Very affectionate, loyal, and easygoing. We are sadly looking to rehome him due to an upcoming move and rental restrictions. With a toddler and full-time work schedules, we are on a limited timeline and want to make sure he goes to a safe, loving home where he will be well cared for. This is not an easy decision for us, and we’re really hoping to find the perfect match for him 💛

Story
Pippa is an exceptional, healthy 3-year-old spayed female Husky mix with a wonderful temperament, completely healthy, and fully up to date on all vaccinations and preventative care. I have been her only owner and she's been with me since she was a puppy. She is being rehomed solely due to a change in my personal circumstances that no longer allow me to meet her needs. She is friendly, playful, and very well socialized with dogs, gentle with babies/young children, and affectionate when greeting new people. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and has completed formal obedience training. She responds reliably to sit, stay/wait, crate. She is travels well in cars and planes.Pippa loves fetch, running, long walks, yard play, and playing with other dogs. Indoors she is calm, non-destructive, enjoys puzzle and chew toys, and is vocally expressive but rarely barks.Ideal home: A home with another dog is strongly preferred. Access to secure outdoor area. No cats due to a high prey drive.

Story
We got Hades from the Wake County animal shelter. He has a good heart and a kind spirit, but can be a bit wilful in his own desires. Crate trained and will capitulate until he hears someone working or making noise and will howl incessantly until he is let out. This creates a level of disdain in our household because my wife works remotely and often has on camera and microphone meetings, and the dog can be heard in the background. Hades is also unable to be left unattended for any period of time because if his request to go outside isn't met then he feels the need to relieve himself as soon as he can. We don't know if that is due to a botched neutering which may have affected his urinary tract, or if he just has an incomprehensible lack of patience, but a doggy door would definitely be in his as well as his next home's interest, or consistent and frequent walks. He's a sweet dog and loves to cuddle on the couch, be all up in your business while you're doing something, and just joyful!

Story
Athena is a 7-year-old German ShepherLabrador mix with the sweetest, most gentle personality. She loves people of all ages, gets along great with other pets, and her absolute favorite thing in the world is playing with her orange ball. She is potty trained, calm, and very well-behaved—she doesn’t chew or destroy things. Athena truly thrives in a quiet, loving home where she can simply be someone’s loyal companion. We are a military family with an unpredictable schedule and living situation, and with heavy hearts we know Athena deserves a stable home where she can enjoy her golden years. Athena was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, so her back legs are a bit underdeveloped, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. She loves gentle walks around the neighborhood and is happiest snuggled on the couch watching TV with her humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, relaxed companion, Athena might be the perfect match. Our biggest wish is to find her a loving home where she will be cherished

She’s a sweet, friendly dog and does well with other dogs. She has a good amount of energy and loves attention. With a new baby and a busy work schedule, we haven’t been able to give her the time she deserves, and we want to make sure she ends up in a home where she can get plenty of love, activity, and consistency. We care a lot about her and want this to be the right fit and are happy to answer any questions and share more photos.
