Photo of Sakari

Sakari

Husky Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Female, 1 yr 8 mos
Foster, OR
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sakari was an owner surrender, abused and severely neglected. She was kept outside and not socialized. She was covered in ticks and very scared when rescued. Shes since been vetted, negative bloodwork, showing a healthy pup! She’s learning to trust humans and has come so far in such a short time. She’s very sweet, playful and is very smart. House-trained, knows the doggy door and working on manners. She loves car rides! She does have a fear towards some men, but not all. She’s very submissive, but will bark if she doesn’t know you. She’s protective of her family. She would do better in a home without small dogs as she can play too roughly at times. Sakari needs a family that has the time and patience for her. If you are interested in meeting her, please go directly to my website at savingonepawatatimerescue.org to complete an adoption application.

Foster, OR
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bronco was rescued minutes from being euthanized for space at an animal shelter in San Jacinto, CA. He is sweet, friendly and is good with other dogs his size. He is afraid of the hose, but loves water. Bronco will protect his home, but outside of the home he does well. He is a hard leash puller so he will do best with a strong human. Bronco needs an experienced adopter who can give him time and patience to trust you as we believe he had been abused in his past. He gets shy of new people and tends to withdraw in a new environment and would need time to adjust. He deserves the best home and the best forever family who will give him the love an attention he needs to thrive.

Story
Hi. My name is Bonnie. I was rescued from a shelter in Southern California that was closing and I was going to be euthanized if I wasn’t rescued. Fortunately, my rescue mom found out and saved me and my siblings from death row just in the knick of time. I’m very sweet and playful and I love other dogs. I’m gentle and goofy and want all the pets and loves I can get. I’d be a good fit for an active family, and I will love you with all of my heart. Could you be my perfect family for me? Please apply to meet me at savingonepawatatimerescue.org

Copper

German Shepherd Dog

Male, 7 mos , Special Needs
Foster, OR
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Copper was an owner surrender due to know fault of his own. We believe he had previously been abused. He’s got the sweetest personality and is really laid back. He loves to play and he loves other dogs. He’d do well in a home with another fur baby to play with. He’s very smart, and is now potty trained. Copper has been with us since January of this year. Unfortunately, he got sick and after thorough testing by our vet, he was diagnosed with EPI, a genetic disorder with his pancreas not producing enough enzymes to get the nutrients he needed to gain weight. It is treatable with daily medication mixed in with his food. He’s now gained the weight he needed to and is happy and healthy on his medication. Copper is looking for a family who will love him and care for him the way he needs forever. Could you be the right family for him?

We rescued Mavis from an overcrowded shelter in Long Beach, CA., and she was at risk for euthanasia for space. She is a super sweet, friendly and playful little girl and she’s very smart. She’s begun the potty pad training and is learning quickly. Mavis is up to date on her vaccines and has had her first two sets of the 3 needed. She is also microchipped. Mavis will make a perfect addition to an active, loving family. Are you the forever home she’s been waiting for?
