Story
Meet Wesley, who we saved at the 11th hour from a large, high kill shelter in Texas......As it turns out, this handsome gentleman, with a perfect shooting star marking on his chest, is just that - A STAR...❤...Wes is a VERY loving, happy, well behaved boy, who is dog friendly. Wes is about 6 years old, weighs 70 lbs and is very healthy...We do not know how he is with cats and have no way to test him. Wes is currently in boarding in Texas and would love a home with a family who will shower him with love and include him in their adventures...Could it be you?... If you live in the northeast OR Texas and feel you have what it takes to make Wesley's dreams come true, please follow the link below to fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch promptly...Hope to hear from you soon! Wesley's adoption fee is $500, which includes complete vetting, new bed, collar, harness, leashes, bowl, food for transitioning, complete medical record, HW prevention and transport north.

Story
We have Fergus in our care now and what a good boy he is...😃... Fergus was pulled from a shelter in Nebraska by a good Samaritan who just couldn't let him die...He is now in our program and is being cared for in Texas. This handsome fellow is about 6 years old, weighs 95 lbs and is just a stellar boy...He LOVES everyone and plays very nicely with every human and dog he meets...Fergus is an enthusiastic boy, who would do great with an active family, who will take him on hikes in the woods, include him in family activities, play fetch and have a friendly canine companion for him to romp with in their fenced in yard...❤ ...If you live in the Northeast or Texas and are interested in giving Fergus the home of his dreams, please fill out an adoption application...We promise to be in touch promptly...❤...Hope to hear from you soon!!!...Fergus' adoption fee is $500, which includes complete vetting, bed, bone, ball, new high quality harness, collar, leashes, complete medical record, food for transitioning and transport north... Fergus is being fostered in Texas.

Story
Yellow has such an adorable face and is so loving and sweet. She could be a support dog bc she loves to cuddle and is so calm and gentle. She’s definitely a dog’s dog though! She loves to wrestle and play and needs to be rehomed to a family that has a smaller dog she can play with. Yellow has a malformed back left leg but runs as fast as our other dogs. She wrestles and plays like any other dog. She uses both legs to run or wrestle but only sometimes uses the left to stand or walk. She has no issues with it and vet confirms, she’s just born this way and that’s that! ❤️ Yellow was one year old on March 22nd and weighs about 9lbs. One of our other dog bullies her a bit. She’s submissive but tries to play. We just feel the size difference (65lbs) is too much to risk her getting injured since the larger dog has bitten one of our other dogs before. My first question to you will be, will she have a dog to play with? Message if interested thx

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 5/28/24 Celeste is a darling little lady who has been looking for a home for a while now. She was part of an accidental litter. Her mom is on the smaller side at about 40 lbs. We believe mom is a Kelpie mix. Maybe a Shepherd mix. Celeste is the smallest of the litter. My guess is her adult weight will be around 30 lbs. She is almost fully house trained. She gets along fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and ages. She will be a great choice for most any family situation, with her happy, outgoing, playful demeanor. Celeste is about 7 months old.    In the northeast  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059  email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 1/18/24 My name is Rosie and I'm 18 months old! I've spent a big chunk of my life in a shelter and would love nothing more than having a family of my own! I'm a terrier mix, maybe some Lab too, and weigh approximately 50lbs! I'm housetrained! I'm very energetic, sweet and full of love! I'm great with other dogs and new people. I've never met a stranger. I'm heartworm negative, up to date on my shots and have been spayed! She is fostered in a home w/ cats, however, the cats disappear when dogs come around, so she hasn't had much interaction w/ them.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
