Meet Mocha: Mocha is estimated to be about five years old (as of February 2026) Shepherd Mix (best guess) that weighs 66 pounds. Mocha entered our rescue when a man called us to see if we could help get Mocha off the streets before something bad happened to her. Mocha had been living on the streets of Memphis, even had some litters of pups, when she befriended this older gentleman who always played with her, fed, and watered her over 2/3 years. The man just wanted Mocha to have a better life. Mocha is currently being fostered in the Thomasville, Pa area and would love to meet her forever family. Mocha is a very sweet and friendly girl who is crate trained, house trained and walks on the leash very well. Mocha loves lots of affection and to be petted and loved on. Mocha is good with people, dogs and cats. Mocha loves to go for walks, play tug of war or just sit close to you and chill out. We would love for Mocha to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can play freely and enjoy the outside. Mocha is up-to-date on all of het shots and spayed. Mocha is currently going through heartworm treatment and doing great. Meet Berta: Berta is a 1 year and 9 month old (as of April 2026) hound / rottie mix that weighs about 40 pounds. Berta was found in a high kill shelter. Berta is now being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Berta is a super friendly, sweet girl, ready for adventure! Berta is great in the car and is up for hopping in and going with you to play wherever and meet new people. Berta is very energetic and loves to play with toys. Berta is eager to please and affectionate. Berta has been good with other dogs and cats. Berta will need some patience while she continues to work on her house training, but she's doing well. We would love for Berta to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Meet Blackjack: Blackjack is a 9 month old (as of April 2026) lab mix that weighs 50 pounds. Blackjack was in a high kill outside shelter and next on the list to be euthanized. We are so thankful we were able to spring Blackjack from the shelter before it was too late! Blackjack is being fostered in the Columbia, PA area and would love to meet his forever family! Blackjack is very, very sweet! All Blackjack wants is to be your shadow. Blackjack is shy but comes right to you. Loud noises can make Blackjack a little skittish, but he will run right to your side for your protection and reassurance. Blackjack is good with other dogs, people and children. As a puppy, Blackjack will need some patience while he works on his house training. Blackjack is crate trained but could benefit from leash walking training. Meet Maurice: Maurice is a 3 year old (as of 2026) pit / lab mix (best guess) that weighs around 60 pounds. Maurice is timid but sweet. He likes giving kisses, belly rubs, and getting attention from his person. He loves being outside and exploring. A fenced-in yard or someone looking for a walking buddy would be ideal for Maurice as he loves to run and go for walks. He is great in the car, crate and house-trained, and will entertain himself with chew bones. Maurice is currently in a foster home in the Leesport, PA area. He gets along with other dogs and has been fine around cats. Maurice is uncomfortable around men and would need to have a woman as his primary person. ** PA Foster/Adopter Needed! Meet Buddy: Buddy is a friendly Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix that is approximately 1.5 years old (as of January 2026) and weighs 90 pounds. Buddy was found as a stray in a MS subdivision going from house to house looking for someone to help him. Thankfully he walked up to the right home and the family brought him into their home until he found a foster in PA. Buddy is being fostered in the Pottstown, PA area while he waits for his forever family to come get him. Buddy is very friendly and loves people. Buddy loves being outside either alone or with another dog. He plays nicely with his furry foster sisters, one his size and the other half his size, but does not like male dogs. We recommend no small dogs or small children because Buddy plays hard and does not realize his size. Buddy is your typical Husky/Pyrenes mix. He is very intelligent but has a stubborn side too. He knows a few commands – sit, down, paw, and look. Buddy will need additional patience and training as he continues to learn not to jump up and hug you to say hello, walk nicely on a leash, and not to counter surf. Buddy's Pyrenes and Husky show though the most as he guards the home and occasionally howls as Huskies do. Buddy is crate trained and has not had one accident in the home. In the evening, he settles and hangs out with his human and other dogs in the home. Buddy definitely needs a fenced in yard and a family that is very active. Jasper is currently being fostered in the Manheim, PA area and would love to meet his forever family. Jasper is a very friendly guy who is crate trained, house trained and walks on the leash very well. He loves lots of affection and to be petted and loved on. Jasper is good with people, dogs and cats. Jasper loves to go for walks and to play with his toys. We would love for Jasper to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely.
