Story
Max is a loving well mannered dog. He is great with kids and people. He is very energetic for being 8. Unfortunately I am running low on energy to take him for walks even though he has a yard to run in. He does need the extra walk. He has 0 food aggression. My 20 month old feeds him every day and will hand him food and play with the food bowl and he stands there like a trooper. He is an escape artist. He loves to run and hunt. I’m afraid with another baby on the way that I will have even less time with him. It is not fair to him since he was the baby for so many years. He loves cuddles and chilling with his humans. I don’t want to be rehoming him but it would be the best thing for him.

Story
Hi, I`m Harper! I`m a cute little pittie with a heart of gold and the goofiest personality around. I am rather timid and it takes me a loooong time to make new friends but man is it worth it! I`m looking for a patient adult only home where I can be the only pet. That sounds like a lot, but let me tell you, I`m worth it! I love going for walks and I walk well on a leash. My short term foster said that I`m house broken, crate trained and I`m an excellent snuggler. Here at the shelter, I go on car rides and long hikes with my friends and I`m always a perfect partner. Do you have a quiet household, without a lot of visitors and want a dog that`ll love you unconditionally? You found your match! Email my friends to learn more about me and to get an application.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule a visit with one of their handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hello, I`m Delgado! I am looking for my furever home and family after being at the shelter multiple times. I am a very loving pup and a wonderful companion, and I have a big and goofy personality to match my big and goofy ears! I am also a big snuggle bug in the home, and I love being social with people. I am young and still need a bit of work on basic obedience but I am eager to please. I can get a little over-aroused and mouthy when I am excited so it would be best that any kids in the home are 8 and older and dog-savvy. Cats are unfortunately a no for me, but I am open to living with another dog with proper introduction. I have met other dogs and I enjoy their company. I have a kind heart and would be oh so happy to be your new best friend!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hi there, I`m Nolan! I`m a fun-loving pup on the hunt for my forever home. I`ve been living in foster care for AGGGEEES and while I love my foster humans - I would love a furever family of my own. I`m eager to explore the world around me, play, and learn how to be a well-behaved canine citizen. I have lots (and I mean LOTS) of energy, and I`m still working on my training and can get a bit over-excited at times - that`s why I`m looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me become the best version of myself. My foster mom says that I walk well on a leash and I love to learn so a good student is what I am!Ideally, I`d love to find a home with someone who has experience with dogs and where any children are 13 years or older. I`m also looking for a home where I can be the only pet (no dogs or cats). I can be reactive when I see other dogs as they make me super nervous, I promise I`m a sweet pup who just needs a little direction and patience to continue on my road to gentleman behavior. I am housebroken and crate trained. I even know how to go in my crate, lounge and sleep. Once I`ve had my exercise for the day, I`m also an amazing cuddler and enjoy laying on the couch. If you`re looking for a loyal and loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. So why not give me a chance and let`s see if we can become the best of friends!---This dog is available BY APPOINTMENT only as he is living in foster care. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi, I`m Scoob! I originally came to the shelter as a stray. I was then bounced around between adoptive homes and even another shelter when my latest adopter wasn`t taking good care of me. I deserve a better life and I really want my next home to be my furever. I am such a ham and absolutely love cuddles and lots of attention. I am looking to be pampered and get all the TLC I truly deserve. I am open to living with children that are 13 and older, as I am not fond of sharing what`s mine. I may do well living with cats given proper introduction. I have historically been selective about my dog friends, but I do enjoy the companionship of some. I do need some work on my manners and training as I tend to get over-aroused and mouthy when I am excited. I would be so delighted to find my new family and be your new best friend and companion, so I hope you`ll consider adopting me!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
