Story
With very heavy hearts, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome our 5 year-old Mini Bernedoodle, Buster.Buster is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves people. He is great with kids and gets along well with other dogs. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations but is not neutered.I want to be completely honest about his needs so we can find the best possible home for him. Buster is very attention-oriented and thrives with companionship. He is not fully potty trained and experiences separation anxiety, so he will do best with someone who has the time, patience, and experience to help him continue making progress. If you are seriously interested and believe you could provide Buster with the home he needs, please send me a private message. We will be carefully considering all potential homes because we want what is best for him.

Story
Fynn is a female Husky/Australian Shepherd mix. She is about 10 years old, and we adopted her from a local rescue organization about 8 years ago. She is fully vaxxed and chipped. She is in pretty good health, considering her age. Fynn is a very sweet, loving, and loyal dog. She loves being petted (especially belly rubs) and playing tug-and-toss with a stuffed toy. She is leash-trained and loves walks outside. Give her a bed by a window or on a deck, and she will happily survey her queendom. Her personality is one that really wants to be your sole object of affection, and she will return that affection whole-heartedly. Her ideal home would be one without little kids or other dogs/cats. Fynn has never bitten a person, but she has been in fights with our other dog. She has been an important part of our family, but she gets anxiety around kids and other dogs. We want her to go to a home that will love her as much as we did, but can provide a more comfortable setting for her.

Story
Tej is the sweetest giant. I lost him in a divorce last year and he stayed with my ex. My ex passed away this past weekend and now I am not in a position to keep Tej. I desperately need a home for this sweet boy. He is a lot of dog, size wise. He is 138 pounds. But he grew up with cats and I'm pretty sure he thinks he's 10 pounds. He loves people and he loves attention and cuddles. He has lived with a bernedoodle for a brother for the past 3 years. I don't know how he would be with new dogs, it would need to be a slow intro. But once he's comfortable and knows the dog, I'm sure they would be best friends. He will thrive in a home with structure and lots of walks He will be 6 in September and he really needs a new home that can shower him with love and affection. He doesn't understand what is going on and why his "dad" is gone. But I know the right family can give him what he needs. He went and got all of his shots from the vet today and is up to date on everything!

Story
This is our sweet Jersey girl. We love her with all of our hearts, and it breaks me to make this profile for her. Our only goal is to find the very best home for her.My husband and I adopted Jersey over 7 years ago when she was just 3 months old after she was rescued from Alabama and brought to a shelter in New Jersey (hence her name!). She has always had the sweetest heart.Jersey has been such an important part of our family, which is why this decision has been so incredibly difficult. As our family has grown, we have realized that our home is no longer the right environment for Jersey to thrive. We have worked with a trainer and tried medication to help manage her anxiety. Because of her history of nipping and biting, including an incident with our young daughter, we know she would do best in a calm, adult-only home with someone who has experience with dogs.We are not looking for just any home. We are looking for the right home for our loyal, goofy girl who has meant the world to us.

Story
** PA Foster/Adopter Needed!   Meet Buddy:  Buddy is a friendly Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix that is approximately 1.5 years old (as of January 2026) and weighs 90 pounds. Buddy was found as a stray in a MS subdivision going from house to house looking for someone to help him. Thankfully he walked up to the right home and the family brought him into their home until he found a foster in PA. Buddy is being fostered in the Pottstown, PA area while he waits for his forever family to come get him. Buddy is very friendly and loves people. Buddy loves being outside either alone or with another dog. He plays nicely with his furry foster sisters, one his size and the other half his size, but does not like male dogs. We recommend no small dogs or small children because Buddy plays hard and does not realize his size. Buddy is your typical Husky/Pyrenes mix. He is very intelligent but has a stubborn side too. He knows a few commands – sit, down, paw, and look. Buddy will need additional patience and training as he continues to learn not to jump up and hug you to say hello, walk nicely on a leash, and not to counter surf. Buddy's Pyrenes and Husky show though the most as he guards the home and occasionally howls as Huskies do.  Buddy is crate trained and has not had one accident in the home. In the evening, he settles and hangs out with his human and other dogs in the home. Buddy definitely needs a fenced in yard and a family that is very active. Buddy is up to date on all his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application.   REQUIREMENTS: Fenced in yard and a female dog in the home.   CURRENT LOCATION: Foster Home in Pottstown, PA 19464 Kennel License #17584 ##2367372##
