Story
We rescued Ollie 5 years ago from an SPCA. Our vet thinks he is about 9 years old. He has the energy of a young pup! Our child has just turned 1 years old. Between myself and my wife's school, work and parental needs we simply feel that Ollie would be better served in a home with more attention to be put his way. Our lives are only going to get busier in all those aspects. He needs a backyard to run around and get his energy out (we were in a house and moved into a smaller home without a backyard). Ollie has high anxiety and needs an owner with more free time to dedicate to that attention he needs. He has no issues with biting children or people. He is a very lovey dog in that regard. Ollie wants to say hi and play with every person, dog and cat. 90% of the time its in a playful manner, 10% there can be somewhat guarded hesitation or not friendly barking with other dogs (more so when my wife walks him versus myself). He's simply a dog that needs more care than we can devote.

Story
Fynn is a female Husky/Australian Shepherd mix. She is about 10 years old, and we adopted her from a local rescue organization about 8 years ago. She is fully vaxxed and chipped. She is in pretty good health, considering her age. Fynn is a very sweet, loving, and loyal dog. She loves being petted (especially belly rubs) and playing tug-and-toss with a stuffed toy. She is leash-trained and loves walks outside. Give her a bed by a window or on a deck, and she will happily survey her queendom. Her personality is one that really wants to be your sole object of affection, and she will return that affection whole-heartedly. Her ideal home would be one without little kids or other dogs/cats. Fynn has never bitten a person, but she has been in fights with our other dog. She has been an important part of our family, but she gets anxiety around kids and other dogs. We want her to go to a home that will love her as much as we did, but can provide a more comfortable setting for her.

Story
Sierra is our 5-year-old poodle and a very loved part of our family. She is sweet, loyal, playful, and very intelligent. She also has a goofy side and a big personality that will keep you smiling. Sierra loves being around people and truly bonds with her person whether she’s playing or just relaxing nearby. As we’ve gotten older, with health issues we’ve realized we can’t give her the level of exercise and attention she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision for us. We are looking for a loving, stable home where she will be treated like family and given the time, care, and activity she needs. Sierra is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and will come with her supplies. We want nothing more than to see her go to a home where she will be truly loved and well cared for.

Story
Meet Zoc: Zoc is a 10 week old (as of May 21, 2026) boxer / hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 12 pounds. This litter of cuties (Zoc, Rix, Tony, Scarlett, Gus, Alvin and Vixen) was rescued with their mom (Raya) after they were surrendered to a high kill shelter. We are thankful that we have been able to have them grow up in foster care as opposed to the loud shelter life. Zoc is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Zoc, and this full litter, is a group of playful, sweet and very cuddly puppies! Zoc has been good with both other dogs and cats. Zoc loves people! Zoc is crate trained. As a puppy, Zoc will need some patience while he works on his house training. We would love for Zoc to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. Zoc is up to date on his puppy shots and will need to be neutered when age appropriate. If you are interested in giving this sweetie lots of love and a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA. ##2739419##

Story
Meet Draco: Draco is about a 4 year old (as of May 2026) pit / lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 45 pounds. Draco was found in an abandoned apartment in Memphis where the owners moved off and left him behind. Someone called one of our rescuers and luckily she was able to go get him. Draco is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Draco is a very friendly, gentle and sweet boy. We are confused on how someone could leave him behind. Draco loves people and loves to be petted and snuggled. Draco has been good with both other dogs and the resident cats. Draco walks well on his leash and is both crate and house trained. We would love for Draco to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play freely. Draco is up to date on his shots and is neutered. Draco has lots of love to give to a family. Story
** PA Foster/Adopter Needed!   Meet Buddy:  Buddy is a friendly Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix that is approximately 1.5 years old (as of January 2026) and weighs 90 pounds. Buddy was found as a stray in a MS subdivision going from house to house looking for someone to help him. Thankfully he walked up to the right home and the family brought him into their home until he found a foster in PA. Buddy is being fostered in the Pottstown, PA area while he waits for his forever family to come get him. Buddy is very friendly and loves people. Buddy loves being outside either alone or with another dog. He plays nicely with his furry foster sisters, one his size and the other half his size, but does not like male dogs. We recommend no small dogs or small children because Buddy plays hard and does not realize his size. Buddy is your typical Husky/Pyrenes mix. He is very intelligent but has a stubborn side too. He knows a few commands – sit, down, paw, and look. Buddy will need additional patience and training as he continues to learn not to jump up and hug you to say hello, walk nicely on a leash, and not to counter surf. Buddy's Pyrenes and Husky show though the most as he guards the home and occasionally howls as Huskies do.  Buddy is crate trained and has not had one accident in the home. In the evening, he settles and hangs out with his human and other dogs in the home. Buddy definitely needs a fenced in yard and a family that is very active. Buddy is up to date on all his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application.   REQUIREMENTS: Fenced in yard and a female dog in the home.   CURRENT LOCATION: Foster Home in Pottstown, PA 19464 Kennel License #17584 ##2367372##
