Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Philadelphia, PA Oreo is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and weighs 49 lbs. He is up to date on shots, but isn’t neutered or on heartworm prevention. Oreo is nervous around strangers. He barks at them at first, but warms up after a while. He has only been around one other dog. They run and play for a while, but then he prefers to be by himself. He hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. The owner is surrendering him because they separated from their partner. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Oreo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Oreo. Owner’s Contact Information: Yahaira Wilson at (862) 944-0309 or ywilson123@gmail.com.

Story
Hi there, my name is Pearl!I spent a long time as a stray dog until a nice family captured me! That time on the loose has left me a somewhat reserved and uncertain girl so I take a little bit of time to warm up to new people. I walk well on a leash (unless I see other puppers around! then I get a little excited). I am housebroken and my manners are so good, I can be left alone in the house! Once I settle in, I love snuggling with my person and lounging on the couch. I just need a loving and patient home. I would prefer a quiet home with children 15 and older, as well as no other animals. If you would like to give me a chance, then let's give it a whirl! ---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Hi, I'm Harper! I'm a cute little pittie with a heart of gold and the goofiest personality around. I am rather timid and it takes me a loooong time to make new friends but man is it worth it! I'm looking for a patient adult only home where I can be the only pet. That sounds like a lot, but let me tell you, I'm worth it! I love going for walks and I walk well on a leash. My short term foster said that I'm house broken, crate trained and I'm an excellent snuggler. Here at the shelter, I go on car rides and long hikes with my friends and I'm always a perfect partner. Do you have a quiet household, without a lot of visitors and want a dog that'll love you unconditionally? You found your match! Email my friends to learn more about me and to get an application.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule a visit with one of their handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Howdy, I'm Matteo! I initially came to the shelter as a stray and after some time I found a wonderful home, but sadly they fell on hard times and had to bring me back to the shelter. Now my search begins again for the perfect family. I can be a bit sensitive with handling and shy around new people, but I do enjoy lots of attention and affection once I warm up. My previous adopter did mention that I can be especially weary of strangers coming into the home, so a quieter environment is preferable. I would like to be the only pet in the home because I don't want to share the spotlight. I also ask that any kids in the home be 8 and older who can respect my sensitivity and boundaries. If I sound like the right fit for you then come on over and let's meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
