Story

Tanner is a 8 year old Bloodhound rescue mix approx. 65lbs.He is a loving old man who needs a quiet home and would love a yard to explore. He loves being outside, and does great on car rides. He is a gentle giant that, loves other people and does well with both cats and other dogs. He is housetrained, and crate trained. He can be goofy at times, but is very laid back. He enjoys doing his own thing most days, which includes observing everything and sleeping in the sun. Although Tanner is a good boy, he does have some quarks to him. We suggest that if you have other dogs or animals, you feed him in a separate room where the other animals are not able to bother him. The same goes with children. He enjoys that time to himself. Tanner, does not like children which has led him to this path. We would like someone to adopt him that has no children living in the house. Unfortunately, the situation he is in now is not ideal for him. He is a good boy, that deserves to live out his golden years.

We rescued Khloe a little over a year ago and she's a very sweet girl, loves to snuggle, has a ton of energy and is a really great companion. She has food aggression issues that have led to her biting if you attempt to get the food back from her. With two little children in our home, we've decided Khloe just isn't a great fit for our family. I do not recommend a home with children or other cats/dogs.

Story

Kai is a sweet heart and very loyal. She is always right by your side and has hilarious mannerisms. Kai loves going on walks and loves to run around in the back yard. She loves to tease you with a toy and hopes you will chase her to get it. She’s very expressive and a great buddy! Kai was 3 in December, I don't know if that counts as "young" or "adult". I am not sure about how she is with kids because we aren't around them too often. Our neighbor (and her kids) watches Kai when we are out of town, they stay and swim and have no issues with Kai and have done so for years. I don't know that Kai has been around cats but suspect she might come right up to sniff them. We have four other dogs right now and Kai is usually good with them. She’d be better off without other dogs or a dog that is closer to her size so they can play. She is 4 times as big as the rest of our dogs so it's tough to play. She did have a problem with one of our dogs

Meet Wesley, who we saved at the 11th hour from a large, high kill shelter in Texas......As it turns out, this handsome gentleman, with a perfect shooting star marking on his chest, is just that - A STAR...❤...Wes is a VERY loving, happy, well behaved boy, who is dog friendly. Wes is about 6 years old, weighs 70 lbs and is very healthy...We do not know how he is with cats and have no way to test him. Wes is currently in boarding in Texas and would love a home with a family who will shower him with love and include him in their adventures...Could it be you?... PLEASE READ! Paisley- female mini golden doodle. She is 10 pounds and 7 months old. She is very happy and energetic. We are located in Arkansas. She will need work on potty training, obedience and leash training. She came from a back yard breeding situation. She loves people and lots of attention. We do not claim her to be hypoallergenic as she is a poodle MIX. Her adoption fee covers the spay, microchip, dna test, transport fee and health exam with certificate. We transport to the east coast weekly (weather permitting). If you are in Virginia please note that the stop is in Raphine at around 3 am. Jax has been with me since he was 10 weeks old. He is now 10 months. He is Mr. Personality. Very intelligent and energetic. He knows some commands, needs training on leash walking. Gets along with my 12 lb. Chihuahua. Shy when meeting new people and dogs. With treats, you can accomplish anything with Jax. I live in an apartment and work 4 to 5 days a week, 12 hour shifts. His humans would have to have more time to spend with him. An energetic person with a yard and willing to train with him would be best. He needs to have his brain stimulated and plenty of exercise. And he loves to go on adventures.
