Story
Coley ✨ The sweet girl is just over a year and has never met a stranger. Despite her background of being abandoned, tied to a guard rail on malfunction Junction in Birmingham and after it took her a minute to gain trust she now is humans best friend! In fact, she gets so excited she’ll forget her manners for a second and just wants to hug you. She would appreciate some help learning her manners. She’s your absolute shadow and very eager to please. She’s great with other dogs, has done doggy daycare and lives together with other pups all ages and sizes. Facts: 🐕Coley is about 50lb and should be full grown. ⛰️She’s friendly with kids and make a great family dog to and active family or young couple. 🐶 Coley would like another dog in the home but would be fine being the only child and getting all the attention too. ⭐️Gabriel⭐️ Gabriel is 6 months old and a complete love bug. He likes to play with other pups but he really loves to be wherever his foster mom is. He wants to be as close to his person as possible and give sweet kisses 😘 Gabriel is crate trained and once he settles he sleeps soundly through the night. He is also doing great with leash training and stays right beside his person. 🦮 Gabriel is a very happy boy who likes playing with toys 🎾 rolling in the grass, chewing his bone 🦴and everything puppy🐶 We think Gabriel would love to have older children to play with or an active family to take him on lots of fun adventures 🎉 If this cutie sounds perfect for you, then please submit the adoption application. Gabriel can’t wait to meet his new family 💙

Story
🐶LUKE🐾 Luke is an 6 month old male that was saved from death row at a rural shelter! He is ready to complete your family 🫶🏼 If you are looking for a good time, Luke’s your man!! He is up for anything and loves to adventure! He loves to play, explore outside & wrestle with his brother. He is a master at zoomies!!🧗🏻‍♂️ Luke is house trained and has perfect indoor manners. He loves sleeping in his crate & doesn’t whine at night. He has the perfect low-shedding fur texture!! He is a typical puppy, so he does try to playfully bite ankle’s occasionally, but it’s all in good fun. He loves both of the adult labs in his home and all people, we know he will be a wonderful family pup! 🏡 If Luke sounds like the one for you, please apply! Story
🌟Samantha Meet the adorable Princess Pittie Samantha (Sam) 👑 This sweet girl is really something special. She was left in the woods to fend for herself as a baby puppy. When her rescuer found her she was so weak she could barely stand 😢 but even in her very sad condition, she was the most loving, precious girl ever. Sam has left that sad life behind her and is thriving in her foster home. ❤️ She is a happy, healthy girl who loves everyone she meets. Sam is like a wind up puppy toy , she is full speed play, play, play then she winds down for nap time and dreams of the next playtime and it’s on again 🎾 She is also a champion snuggle bug and gives the sweetest hugs. She loves toys and thinks fetch is the greatest thing ever besides chasing the big dogs around the yard 🐕 Sam is crate and house trained. She is a smart girl and picks up on new things quickly. Sam loves all the other dogs in her foster home and especially plays great with the big dogs so a big brother or sister pup is definitely on her new home list. She would be an amazing playmate for older children too but is a little too rambunctious for small dogs or very young children. 🐾 If Sam sounds perfect for your family then please fill out the adoption application. Sam can’t wait to meet her forever family and start a lifetime of new adventures 🫶

Story
Meet Penny, a gorgeous boxer/lab 10 month old girl. This girl is so friendly! She loves kids, adults and other dogs, but not kitty cats! Smart! Did we say smart, oh yes! Learns quickly and wants to please. She walks well on leash but would love a fenced back yard. She is almost 30# so she is just the perfect size for a family pet. She is crate trained, house broken and ready for hugs, ready to give you winks from her one blue and one brown eye and get pets of her soft short fur. She is spayed, h/w negative and fully vetted. If Penney is your girl contact Dixie Girl Dog Rescue.
