The great and powerful… Oz - 4 years old, male - Cuddly, playful, smart - Stunning fur coloring - Loves to play with his toys and be silly - Knows ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, ‘roll over’, and ‘wait’ - Can be timid with new people, but warms up over time (treats help!) - Prefers to be the only furry apple of your eye, so his ideal home will have no other dogs or cats - Housebroken and has the cutest potty trot to signal that he needs to go - Has a zero tolerance policy for crating, but has demonstrated that he can be trusted with free rein of the house - Looking for a patient household that will allow Oz to adjust to new things at his own pace and will be ready for all the affection in return If you think Oz could be a fit for your household, please click over to www.pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application. 🩶 Pitties.Love.Peace, License #08420 Elizabethtown, PA 17022

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Meet Buddy – a big guy with an even bigger heart! This lovable lug is basically a 80-pound teddy bear covered in fur, with a tail that wags like it’s powered by joy alone. Buddy is the definition of friendly: he loves people, dogs, belly rubs, and anything that remotely resembles food. He might accidentally sit on your foot (or your lap), but it’s only because he’s convinced he’s a lap dog and also your new best friend. He’s on the lookout for a forever home where he can spread his love, show off his goofy grin, and maybe snore a little too loudly during naps. If you’re looking for a gentle giant who gives world-class hugs and never runs out of tail wags—Buddy’s your guy!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
