Story
Piper turned two in Dec 23. We were told she’s a Dutch Shepherd, but she may be mixed. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of energy. She’s fully potty trained. She’s okay with cats and currently lives with a smaller dog, but she’s food protective, so they eat in separate rooms. She may do well with a calm, larger dog after slow introductions and proper boundaries, but we believe she’d thrive most in a home where she’s the only pet. She’s amazing with adults and older kids, though not the best fit for homes with small children. She’d love a big yard where she can run and play—she has so much energy and joy to share! We love her deeply, but our lease only allows one dog. We originally took her in temporarily for a sick friend, but her owner never returned. We’ve cared for her since, hoping to find the right home. It’s been tough, but we’re doing all we can to avoid the shelter. She deserves a happy, active home full of love, patience, and play.

Story
Milo is an 8-month-old puppy bursting with energy, love, and personality. He is always ready for fun and thrives on playtime, whether it’s tug-of-war, fetch, or tackling treat puzzles (he’s very food-motivated!). Milo has a particular love for his rope toys and can be a bit rough on stuffed toys, so durable toys are a must. This playful pup adores being outside. He enjoys walks, exploring new sights and smells, and spending time in the fresh air. But Milo isn’t all play; he’s also a big softie who loves to cuddle and give affection. His loving nature shines when he’s relaxing. Milo needs an active family who can keep up with his energy and help him stay well-exercised and entertained. He is crate-trained and house-trained, and he would likely benefit from a companion, another dog to play with and keep him company, which would make him very happy. Overall, Milo is a loving, energetic, and fun-loving puppy seeking a forever home where he can thrive.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.)Posted 9/24/2025 Tuesday was a puppy mill dog used to produce puppies.  She has a sweet personality but does need to gain some confidence in herself.  Her quirky thing is she won't eat in front of you so I leave her food in her crate and she eats when I am not there.  She is a bit backward but will come to you after she gets to know you.  She is good with dogs, and good in her crate.  Because she is backward no children under 16.  She does need a fenced yard since she will not poop on a leash.  Her aoption fee is $500 she has had a dental as well.   All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked.
