Story
Meet Blue, a talkative Bluetick Hound with puppy eyes that could melt anyone’s heart. Blue was found wandering the streets of Jemison, Alabama, but you’d never guess she had been alone. From the moment we met her, she was all tail wags and friendliness, greeting everyone like an old friend. Drool and all, Blue doesn’t even notice when she’s slobbering on you—she’s too busy sharing her joy. At about 4 years old, she’s the perfect mix of energy and maturity. Blue loves car rides, adores attention, and has a voice to match her hound heritage—always ready to “chat” with you in her own special way. And while she’s no puppy, her soulful eyes still sparkle with that same sweet innocence. Blue is looking for a forever family who will appreciate her goofy charm, hound “conversations,” and all the love she has to give. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’s equal parts sweetheart and sidekick, Blue is waiting to meet you.

Story
Bebe came into the shelter through life changing circumstances of her owner. This silver muzzle queen-ager is a little round rocket pocket; she loves the company of people and does not like to be left alone. Bebe is a girl who is not found of being outside for long periods of time by herself, if she is left outside for long periods of time, she will find a way to plot her escape. Bebe is looking for a home to call her own, someone who will take her on walks so she can get her girlish figure back, some where she can spend the winter of her life in luxury. If you are adopting locally, please bring a leash to take her home. Stone County SPCA is open daily Noon - 4:00pm
