Story
I received Snow when I was in college 7 years ago and he has been the sweetest and most kind dog ever. Life got busy after I graduated and started work with also having a child. I haven’t been able to put much time or money into him and want him in a home that would be able to take care of him better than I can right now. He loves to lay down and relax when you want to but also loves to take walks with you.

Story
The owner relocated out of the country for work. We are fostering Koda until we can find him a forever home! :) Koda is the best good boy! He’s a very easy dog to care for…and even easier to love. He stays by your side on walks, is super chill hanging out at Starbucks or brunch patios, and is well trained. He is quick to learn and is up for anything we do—hanging by the pool, grilling by the lake, camping, or Sunday brunch. As I said…he’s the BEST good boy. Along with the adoption, we’ll provide the following if needed: - dog bed + blanket - dog food bowl - dog water bowl w/ stand - dog collar + leash - his favorite toys

Benji has been well loved for the past 11.5 years. He is a good boy who loves to cuddle. He is older but full of energy. We are not sure of his breed, but assume he is some kind of terrier.

Story
Kingsley is a very sweet pup with a big head, big heart, and the sweetest face. After he had been on the run for quite some time, it was easy to see that Kingsley just wanted a place to be loved and doted on. He loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed and loves to give big kisses. Kingsley loves showing how to sit and shake, especially for a treat! Kingley’s nickname could be “Piggy” because whenever he gets excited (mainly over meal time) he loves to “oink” and snort while wagging his tail and doing tippy tappys- it is absolutely adorable! He lovessss his bones and loves whenever he can lay in his bed to chew on them. Thunderstorms are not Kingsley’s favorite- but he is very appreciative of hugs and loving from humans when they come through. Kingsley loves to go outside on the leash to go on walks, runs, and to explore! He is house training, fully vetted, and loves any and all people. We do believe Kingsley was not socialized much with other dogs, so it would be best for him to be in a home where he would be the only pet. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Kinglsey is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.September 1, 2024, 12:17 am

Story
Please read all the way to the end before applying for Koko: Meet Koko an about a 4-5 year old Pit Bull Terrier, potentially a Staffordshire Terrier, who weighs around 50-60 lbs. Koko is housebroken & crate trained, walks well on a leash & loves to go for walks & car rides. She has never met a stranger & is loving life, is ready to go on any adventure with her family. Koko loves kids, although her energy may be too much for the little one, so kids 8 years and older are best. She loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed, she actually sleeps in her 13 year old human foster-sister's bed every night & loves to go for meetings with her friends . Koko is a flirt as she does best with bigger MALE dogs but is NOT one for female dogs of any size. Koko was adopted 3 years ago & lived in a loving home for the past 3 years - but had to be surrendered following some unexpected life situations when the family could no longer keep her. She is currently fostered with a family that has four other dogs.
