Story
Looking for a best friend full of love, personality, and snuggles? Kira is a sweet, affectionate girl who feels safest and happiest indoors with her people. She thrives in a calm, stable home where she can relax, be loved, and return that love tenfold. Kira is house-trained and crate-trained—though she may try to escape a wired crate when anxious, she usually settles well when she feels secure. Despite being deaf, she’s incredibly smart and has learned hand signals for commands like “sit” and “quiet,” proving that communication is no barrier to connection. She adores kids and meeting new people and will happily ask for belly rubs, often flashing a big, happy smile in return. Kira enjoys walks, car rides, and curling up on a comfy bed—whether it’s hers or yours. Kira needs to be the only pet in the home due to a strong prey drive and prefers not to share her space with other animals. She loves attention and companionship and will thrive in a home where she’s doted on. She has a playful side, loves to shred toys, but is otherwise well-mannered. She may pull a little on the leash when excited and dislikes baths, sometimes trying to escape mid-scrub. Kira uses a high-pitched bark when anxious or seeking attention. With a few special needs, Kira’s huge heart and gentle nature make her an incredible companion. She communicates beautifully through her eyes, body language, and unwavering devotion. Kira is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative/on prevention.

Story
Casienova (Casie) is a loving, gentle girl who adores belly rubs and head scratches. She’s a big sweetheart with a wiggly rump once she gets the attention she craves. While she can be a bit anxious and tries to avoid kennel moves, she settles well once in her crate—she just needs a little help getting inside. Casie is housebroken, friendly with strangers, and enjoys cuddles and attention. She can be vocal when she feels ignored or when other dogs bark around her. She’s good with small dogs but still learning how to be gentle with them. She has shown some barrier aggressin here at the shelter, but her foster said she did good with other dogs, so a meet and greet with any current pets is highly recommended. Due to her energy level and tendency to chew on fencing, Casie will do best in a home with a privacy fence. She also has a severe flea allergy that requires prescription flea and tick prevention. Casienova was recently adopted and returned through no fault of her own. She thrives in calm environments and will do best with a patient, loving family who can help her feel secure and loved. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Story
Bubble Bath is a big, lovable girl who thrives on being close to her people. She’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s soaking up attention from those she loves. She has done well around other dogs, cats, and even larger livestock, making her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes—though she would prefer a chicken-free household. Bubble Bath walks nicely on a leash most of the time, with occasional pulling when something exciting catches her eye. Indoors, she’s well-mannered and appears to be potty trained. Bubble Bath is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has successfully completed treatment for a very mild heartworm-positive result. She’s healthy, happy, and ready for her next chapter. If you’re searching for a sweet, loyal companion who will shower you with love and affection, Bubble Bath might just be the perfect addition to your family.

RINGWORM These puppies were born under a local business, caught, and brought safely into our care. Despite having limited exposure to people during their first few weeks of life, they absolutely crave attention and have shown a strong love for human companionship. They arrived with ringworm and are currently receiving regular antifungal baths; adopters may need to continue treatment if it has not fully cleared at the time of adoption. Full of puppy energy, these little ones are almost always playing and exploring. Like any young puppies, they will need time, patience, and consistency as they learn potty training, leash skills, and how to grow into well-mannered dogs. These guys have received 2 of their 3 DHPP vaccinations, dewormer, and microchips. Their spay/neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption.

Story
Meet Maizel! 🐾 Maizel is a 6–7 year old mixed breed sweetheart who truly never met a stranger. She’s friendly, affectionate, and especially adores kids—honestly, she seems to love them even more than adults! She was surrendered due to a family change, not because of anything she did, and she’s been nothing but loving with people. Maizel is housebroken, crate trained, and did well when left alone. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and knows her basic commands. She’s good with strangers and thrives on attention, cuddles, and playtime—especially with toys and balls. Her foster describes her as a puppy at heart who needs kids, space, and room to play, even if she may be a bit older than she acts. She previously did well playing with other dogs, but shelter life has been stressful and she’s shown some dog reactivity here, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is required. She may truly shine again once she’s back in a home environment. NO CATS—she has a strong prey drive, and if she’s not in a fenced area and sees small animals, she will take off and does not recall easily. A secure, sturdy fence is important, as she has jumped chain-link fences in the past. Maizel can be startled by loud noises but continues to make great progress and settles well in calm, loving environments. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention, and she’s ready for a stable home where she can relax, feel safe, and be the loyal, fun-loving companion she was meant to be. 💕🐾

Story
This puppy was born under a local business, caught, and brought safely into our care. Despite having limited exposure to people during the first few weeks of life, he has shown a strong desire for human companionship and truly enjoys being around people. He arrived with ringworm but has officially been cleared of it. He is full of typical puppy energy and loves to play and explore. He does well with other dogs and new people and is a very affectionate boy. He loves being right next to his person, enjoys cuddling, and even seems to love being in the shower with you. He is coming along well with potty training but will need continued consistency and patience as he continues to learn. He is still a little nervous on a leash and will benefit from positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. He enjoys chewing and will need appropriate chew toys. He can struggle when left in a crate. He has received all of his DHPP vaccinations, Bordetella vaccine, dewormer, and microchip. His neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
