SOS! Solomon is a wonderful 9 yr old husky boy needing an urgent home with no cats or chickens. He was surrendered for euthanasia for killing chickens. Huskies are notorious for escape artists when they are bored. He is fully vetted and house trained. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. His adoption fee is only the cost of transport. 🥹Luna is doll! Rocky is a love. He is 6 years old. She is 8 years old and in need of a home. She is sweet, good with dogs and people. 🐾Luna and Rocky live on the back porch outside of a local home. A kind man has been bring food and taking them to parks…. He had been getting them groomed and even took them home for the weekend to sleep over! He lives in an apartment & cant have them as he already has a dog. They didn’t want to leave. He has tried to find them homes and unfortunately has been unsuccessful. 🐾We are providing them with dog houses and straw tomorrow. Luna and Rocky need Foster homes or Adoptive homes. We would live for them to stay together but, know that most likely is not possible. Svetlana was found wandering as a stray and brought to ACCT by Animal Protection Officers. This fun-loving girl is eager to greet everyone who approaches her kennel and loves getting pets and snuggles. She’s easy to leash, enjoys walks, and likes to explore her surroundings with a loose, wiggly body full of enthusiasm. Svetlana knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and happily leans into affection. She’s also social with other dogs — Svetlana has had a good meet in the shelter and is foster-eligible, showing a playful and bouncy side during interactions. While she can get a little excited walking down her kennel row, a treat or two keeps her happily moving along. Svetlana is ready for a home that can match her energy and excitement for life. With her beauty, charm, and playful personality, she’s sure to bring joy and smiles wherever she goes. She’s eager to greet you when you approach her kennel, easily leashed, happily walks, likes to explore, knows sit, takes treats nicely, and let me snuggle with her. She’s had a good dog meet in shelter and is also foster eligible. Per staff 11/27/25: Kennel Presentation: At the front of her kennel when I approached. Front paws on the kennel door and standing on her hind legs with ears back, soft eyes and loose wiggly body. Took a treat gently through the bars. Leash Skills: She was a little difficult to leash due to her being so excited to go out. Pulled mildly through the kennels to outside. Once outside she walked nicely on leash, remained soft and loose body. Jumped up gently in a playful way. Sociability: Very social. Allowed all handling and leaned into pets. Knows sit and will playbow to you. Play: n/a Dog Interaction: Met Jaguar. Through the fence at first was barking with soft eyes, ears forward and mid wagging tail. Met on leash meet face to face and was bouncy/ playful. Return to Kennel: Walked in to kennels without hesitation. However when we were about to walk down her row she started to back up and buck on the leash. Her kennel is all the way at the end and all the dogs were barking. I used a treat lure to get her moving and tossed a treat down the row which she followed. When she got back into her kennel there was a tray with food in and she went right to eating it very quickly. Color Level: Blue Recommendations and considerations: I believe she could level down in a couple of days if she starts walking down the row without issue. Per staff 11/23/25: Svetlana came out of the crate she was in and trotted right up to me loosely. I was able to leash her with no trouble, and lifted her into the van without muzzling.
