Story
Our family has had Sasha for a little over a year. We got her when she was two months old her birthday is April 22, 2025. Sasha is very sweet and playful dog. She’s extremely food motivated. She loves to play tag with my child and she also loves to cuddle. She knows a few tricks (sit, lay, paw, speak, say “i love you”) and she can be very obedient. She will come with her crate and bed and a crate cover. I also have a brush vacuum for her as well. We call her crate her room so she knows to go to her room when asked. She sleeps in her crate she is not a free range pup. Chew toys are better than plush because she tears through those in a few minutes. We love her dearly however the shedding has become unbearable for me.

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

Story
Meet Pooch, a fun-loving and affectionate guy who is ready to find a family to call his own! Pooch was found as a stray, and his finder described him as a friendly, cuddly, playful pup who is comfortable around strangers, children, and other animals. He has a wonderful balance of curiosity, energy, and sweetness that makes him a fun companion for an active household. Pooch is a curious explorer who loves to follow his nose and investigate everything around him. He is easy to leash, enjoys going for walks, and likes to stop and sniff all the interesting smells along the way. While he may pull a bit when something catches his attention, he is happy to continue exploring with his person. He enjoys spending time outdoors and will occasionally check in with his handler, showing off his playful side with happy tail wags and a little excitement. When meeting new people, Pooch is friendly and social, though he can be a little shy at first. Once comfortable, his silly and affectionate personality comes out. He enjoys attention, tolerates handling, and may even jump up excitedly to say hello before settling back down to explore. Pooch is very food motivated and is still learning polite treat manners, so tossing treats is the best way to help him practice calm interactions. Pooch has also shown that he can be a polite social partner with other dogs. He enjoys sniffing and greeting canine friends, showing loose body language and happy tail wags before moving away to continue exploring. He would likely do well with slow, respectful introductions to potential dog friends. Due to his enthusiasm and playful energy, Pooch would do best with children ages 12 and older who can appreciate his fun-loving personality and help him continue learning good manners. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate adventure buddy who will keep you smiling and enjoys being part of the action, Pooch may be the perfect match! Videos: Ducky & Pooch: https://youtu.be/_7JE3OoEWiA Playgroup 7.8 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLe9vUYuF_JGk&si=syjin8oWb9hfnly5 Behavior Notes: Per staff 7/8/26: Best suited for children 12+ Per staff 7/8/26: Kennel Presentation: Laying down against his kennel door when I approached. Stood up when I talked to him, loose mid tail wags, ears to the side. Took a treat very snatchy through the bars. Leash Skills: Easy to leash and came right out. Walked pulling mildly, ears back, loose mid tail, stopped frequently to sniff. Outside would occasionally turn towards me and jump up on his hind legs, mid loose tail wags, ears forward. Then jump back down. Sociability: Mainly sniffing around the yard, would come over when I called to him ears forward, soft eyes, loose mid tail wags. With handling, low loose tail, ears back then started to get jumpy, jumping up on me ears forward, mid tail wags, vocalized quickly then jumped down as I took a step back and returned to sniffing around. Very food motivated, tossing treats is best due to snatchyness. Was following around my treat pouch, tossing some treats redirected him. Attempted handling again, low to mid tail wags, ears back, loose body, slightly open mouth and tolerated it all. Moved away when I stopped. Play: Would lightly mouth the toys when I held them, lost interest when I tossed them. Dog Interaction: Met Ducky, good greetings, mid tail wags, interested in sniffing. Ducky & Pooch: https://youtu.be/_7JE3OoEWiA Return to Kennel: Walked back loose leash with the same body language as walking out. Hopped right into kennel and started drinking water. Waited till he finished to remove leash, tried to push back out of kennel, was able to remove leash and close the door. Color Level: Blue Playgroup 7/8/26: Loose mid to high tail wags at the fence, started teeth chattering. Steerable 4/5 with water and 2/5 with can. Interested in sniffing the other dogs, high loose tail wags, eventually moved away on his own and sniffed around the yard. Would go back and sniff the other dogs hind ends again. Per staff 7/7/26: Pooch was easy to leash and walk through the kennels. We passed by another dog while in the vestibule to get outside. He showed excitement and let out some huffs but wasn't fixated on getting to her and very easily let them pass before we headed outside. Once outside, Pooch was intent on sniffing all the sniffs, and marking certain spots. He did not care to interact with me but was tolerant of some back pets. He was easy to walk back through the kennels and jumped in without an issue but did try getting back out. Per finder 7/7/26: Chill with strangers, children and other animals, active on leash, and overall friendly, cuddly, shy, and playful -- ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. Story
Meet Waffles (ACCT-A-254962)! This sweet boy is looking for a forever home where he can shower his new family with love. Waffles is a polite gentleman who takes treats very gently and greets visitors with soft eyes and happy tail wags. When it’s time for a walk, Waffles is a mild puller but generally enjoys exploring the great outdoors. He might be a little shy when it comes to the leash at first, but some tasty treats are all it takes to win him over and get him moving! Once he’s out in the yard, he’s happy to receive pets and will show off his loose, relaxed body language as he enjoys the attention. In the shelter waffles has shown to be dog selective- he has done better with female dogs over male dogs in meets, and should meet any resident dogs before going to a home. Waffles is looking for a patient home where he can continue to build his confidence. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who appreciates the simple things in life—like a good snack and a kind word—Waffles might just be the perfect match for you. 📽️Videos📽️: Waffles/Scarlet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5POQjWIRoSs Waffles in the pool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL4qB1uhljs Waffles is a silly boy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA-i0QE5Fuw meeting zilla https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6R8EWijHKy8 ⭐Behavioral Notes⭐ Per Volunteer 7/11/2026: Came right to the front of the kennel with a neutral body when we approached. I had to hold the door sturdy to leash him, but was able to loop him on the first try. He does pull quite a bit, but he has a harness on so I would recommend using that. Very treat motivated and takes them gently out of my hand. Didn’t seem to know any commands. Not super interested in toys. Took some pets from me and was social without being overly interested and not soliciting too many pets. Spent much of the time in the play yard doing laps around the perimeter. A few Dog interactions today. Had a nice fence meet with a female dog with a loose body to greet her. Tried to do a dog meet with a male dog. Waffles snapped at him through the fence and tried to bite his nose through the holes of the fence. Decided not to move forward. Trying again with a female dog as that dog was a male. Had a nice loose meet through the fence. Brought her into the yard and he treated her eagerly and sniffing her hind end. Great dog meet with her! She was pretty forward and liked to sniff her intensely with a loose body and wagging tail. Once he got more comfortable outside, he was very goofy rolling all around on the ground. He loved to go in the pool in the water to cool down. Relaxed boy for our outing. No issues retuning to kennel. 07/09/2026 per staff: Kennel Presentation: At the front of his kennel, ears forward, soft eyes, mid tail loose wags. Took a treat gently through the bars. Leash Skills: Tossed treats to get him to back up, when he came back forward he dodged the leash. Used a treat lure to leash and came out right away. Walked pulling mildly, loose mid tail, ears back. Sociability: In the yard, pacing near the fences, tail mid, ears back, drooling, panting. Would not come over when called, came over for treats. Allowed all handling with ears to the side, low loose tail, panting, loose body. Moved away when I stopped. Took treats gently outisde. Play: n/a Dog Interaction: Attempted meet with another dog, at the fence, mid to high tail, the other dog muzzle punched and Waffles low growled and air snapped at him. Return to Kennel: Walked back pulling mildly with the same body language as walking out. Hopped right into kennel and leash was removed easily. Color Level: Exp Gold 07/09/2026 per staff: meeting zilla - came up to fence body to the side, high tail, closed mouth, when the other dog muzzle punched the fence he did a vocalization and showed teeth and turned fully away quickly. at the fence again both dogs reacted to each other ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. Story
Rin is a very loving hyper husky. He was given to me by someone that couldn't take care of him 5 years ago. He came with a lot of issues one being his fear of people. In the years with me and introducing him to a bunch of different things and people that fear is completely gone. He super hyper around dogs. He gets excited very easily. He's crate trained very well he'll go in by himself. Don't leave him unintended though. He won't tear your furniture or your shoes but he will try to find food and he will also use the bathroom in a random spot but he'll wait to go outside if he's in the crate and he won't ever do it in front of you. The only toy he'll actually enjoy is a ball and you have to throw it for him he's not fond of chew toys. He's 6 or 7 years old I'm not 100% sure but his birthday is July 24th. I wish I could give him everything but I can't. He's a good dog and he'll be better with someone who has the time for him. Hes had a lot of skin issues through the years so I'd lookout.
