Tulip was rescued from the shelter after her former home was no longer able to care for her. This sweet girl is full of love, life, and happiness and would love to join any garden! Tulip is almost fully grown and will remain in the small range as an adult, so she’s the perfect adventure size. Tulip has a hair coat, so she will potentially require some grooming. She could be an option for those with dander allergies, though she is not hypoallergenic. Tulip is the perfect dog for those seeking a spunky yet snuggly new best friend. She is just as happy to bounce around the yard with a toy as she is to settle down in your lap for a long snuggle session. There is no such thing as personal space to Tulip, she loves curling up in a little ball and soaking up all the love you have to give her. Tulip is figuring out her favorite things still but so far she loves LambChop toys and Nylabones. She would love getting the chance to raid a pet store with her new people and pick out a bunch of goodies! Tulip is oh so sweet and smart to boot! She is easy going but also up for adventure. Basically, whatever you are looking for in a new family member, Tulip is that dog! Tulip starts her morning at 7:30 AM with a wagging tail as she heads out for a morning potty trip. She then trots back inside for breakfast, which she eats happily. Tulip spends her morning sunning herself in the backyard with her foster siblings, playing with toys and getting her zoomies out. Around lunch time, Tulip spends some time getting cuddled by her foster parents. It’s her favorite time of the day! In the afternoon, she’s back to more playing and snoozing until it’s time for dinner. She has dinner at 6 PM and then gets a short walk around the neighborhood. In the evening, Tulip snuggles on the couch with her foster parents as they watch TV until she heads to bed. Tulip gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. She would love a playmate in her forever home. She loves people, especially those who have treats for her! Tulip has had no accidents in her foster home and is very polite when taking direction. Tulip walks well on a leash but would do well with continued training as she is still very much in the puppy stage of life. Tulip is an option for just about any home, regardless of prior dog experience. She would be a fabulous first-time dog. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.May 11, 2024, 2:54 am
