Drax is a 5-year-old pit bull who has been in the same home since she was 8 weeks old. She’s loyal and loving companion who loves being close to her people. Personal space isn’t her thing—she’s happiest cuddled right next to you, soaking up attention.Drax is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She thrives outdoors and loves walks, runs, and swimming— if there’s water available to her, she’s in it! When she’s not exploring, she enjoys sunbathing or relaxing by your side. She is house-trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay, place, and lie down. Drax does great with people, including children, and has lived with and grown up with other dogs and cats - has been in a single animal household for the past 2-2.5 years.Drax would do best in a loving, active home that can give her the attention and outdoor time she needs.

*Felicity’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Oh, hi there! I'm so happy you found me. My name is Felicity. I am a playful, spunky and snuggly girl looking for my furever family. I've been so loved in foster homes since I was a puppy, but I know my family is out there!!I currently live in a condo with my foster mom and cat friends, but I have also lived in a house with a foster dad, mom, teenagers and other dogs with a fenced in yard. I have done well with the little kids I have met that are respectful of me. I take a little time to warm up, but not too long! Once I get to know you, I'm your best buddy. I am house trained and do well on leash or freely in the backyard. I am crate trained. I can sleep in my crate at night and when I'm home alone. I go in happily with a treat and love my cozy bed. I also love to sleep in bed with my foster mom though! I'm a great napper, super snuggly and love to give kisses! I'm just the right size too; not too big and not too small!I do bark at new things or in new situations, but I am a good listener and am corrected easily. I would do best with a patient and confident person who is experienced with dogs and is consistent with me! I am such a loving and special pup. My foster families have absolutely loved me and believe that the perfect family is out there looking for me. Is it you? X0XOXO,Felicity Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $0 (Sponsored)To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi. My name is Prince 👑🐾And yes, like the name suggests, I am kind of a big deal.I’m currently accepting applications for my forever human, and in return you’ll receive a loving, loyal shadow who will follow you everywhere — the kitchen, the couch, the bathroom… yes, especially the bathroom. You shouldn’t have to face life alone. My favorite activities include: • Playing with my new toys like they owe me money • Going for walks where I bravely protect you from leaves and suspicious squirrels • Getting lots of attention (this one is very important to my training program)I should mention that I’m still a puppy, which means I’m currently enrolled in Prince-in-Training School. I’m working very hard on all my royal manners like sitting, being polite, and not assuming every sock belongs to me. My foster momma says I’m doing really well and that I’ll have it all figured out in no time. I am slightly weary of men, but I really just haven’t had time to learn that they aren’t so bad yet. What I’m really looking for is my forever kingdom (also known as a home with a lap for me to snuggle in) where I can love my people endlessly, make you laugh every day, and remind you that treats should definitely be shared.I can’t wait to find my forever family.Could that be you?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Bo — and if you’re looking for a sweet, calm, easygoing best friend, I might just be your guy.I made my way to Warrior Dog Rescue from Alabama, where my first foster described me as “somewhat spoiled” in the best possible way. I love being close to my people, think I’m a lap dog, and will gently put my paw on you when I want extra snuggles. Belly rubs are definitely one of my favorite things.I may only have three legs, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit. After coming to rescue with a leg injury, my amputation gave me a fresh start — and I haven’t looked back since. I do great with stairs, walks, running around, car rides, and everyday life. I especially love sniffy walks, spending time outside, and then coming home to relax near my humans afterward. I’m still learning leash manners and can get a little distracted following my nose on walks, but I’m happy just being out exploring with my people. One of my best qualities is how calm and quiet I am. I settle quickly once I find my favorite spot, sleep soundly through the night, and rarely make a peep. I’m comfortable in my crate and relax quietly without barking or whining, but I’m happiest when I can simply be nearby with my people.I’m great with dogs, cats, and people. I enjoy playing with other dogs, love sleeping beside them, and greet new people with happy excitement but very good manners — no jumping here. I’m gentle taking treats, not overly food obsessed, and I’ll even give you a little nudge when I need to go outside.I also love toys (especially stuffed ones that I can de-stuff myself) and a good chew bone. Overall, I’m the perfect mix of outdoor adventure buddy and peaceful couch companion. My past is only a small part of my story. What matters most now is that I’m ready for a family of my own — one that will love me for the happy, resilient, affectionate boy I am.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
*Trace’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hi , my name is Trace! I’m a sweet Alabama girl that has overcome unimaginable challenges, including abuse and living on the streets for over a year. Despite my tough past, I have emerged as a loyal and affectionate companion.I am the mother to the Beauty litter and Art litter. The rescue told me that I am one of the best mothers they’ve ever had! Now that I’ve raised all my babies I’m ready to focus on being a beloved pet. With patience and love, I will blossom into a devoted friend. Once you gain my trust, be prepared for snuggles, cuddles, and a constant companion. My foster mom says I’m really smart too . I’m a quick learner and very treat motivated. I really enjoy puzzle toys and kongs. I am completely house-trained, and I know some basic commands like "sit.” I prefer a peaceful environment, free from loud noises and young children. Ideally, I’d thrive in an adult-only home where I can be the center of attention. If you're an active homebody who enjoys quiet evenings with a good book, TV show, or knitting project, I am the perfect companion for you! I’ll happily snuggle beside you, providing comfort and companionship. All I ask for is love, patience, and understanding , and I’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and affection. Could that be you? 💖🐶💖--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned.
