Why? We have no idea. Her foster cannot say enough good things about her. She is housetrained, crates quietly for the workday, and minds her manners in the house. She is great with all people, loves other dogs, cautious of the cats to where we think she’s lived with one prior who let her know cats are to be left alone. Myrtle is outstanding and deserves a forever home of her own. She has waited her turn patiently for so long. She is about 3 years old and 50 lbs. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives. Jax is a 6 year old bull dog/terrior mix. He weighs appropriately 78 lbs. He has been registered ESA (emotional support animal) to me since 2019. He has been a great comfort to me, but he also needs lots of comfort himself. He is a rescue animal from an Alabama shelter and is the meek and sensitive type. He loves to cuddle, loves being affectionate and follow you around all over like a shadow. Jax has never displayed any aggressive behavior towards people or other pets. While living under my care he had a dog and two people roommates for a period of two years. His favorite foods are banana, broccoli stems and peanut butter. He loves to play tennis ball fetch and run around in the court. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic pain condition that limits my mobility. Since then, It has been difficult to take care of Jax and give him the life he deserves. Help me help my furry friend find a permanent, loving home.

Mr. Tug is a sweet guy who was my father’s dog, who has now passed away. Tug didn’t have great training but overall pretty well behaved. He has been with a family with a younger kid who he was great with. Unsure on how he would do with other dogs/ cats… he does have some separation anxiety so anyone who would be more often home with him would be best.

Meet Kobe! He was rescued from the side of the road by his foster, and he is just the sweetest boy! His foster family has been caring for him for about a year, but never intended to keep him forever. They have 5 kids ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old and they play with him and lay with him and he is always sweet and gentle with them. He’s never shown aggression to anyone at all. He’s crate trained and house trained, but he will dig under the fence if he doesn’t get enough exercise. He would thrive with more exercise, training and mental stimulation. He’s a very smart dog, but also quite strong so would do well with obedience training. Meet Lucky! This incredibly handsome love bug was found super skinny and roaming the streets with burned paws. Some wonderful people took him in and got him to the vet to get treated. He’s now at our rescue and he’s the sweetest, least reactive dog ever. He did great meeting the front yard pack and had no reaction to being growled at. He's a little too much for small dogs and cats, but he'd love another medium/large dog to play with in his forever home. He’s a completely white pit bull with one mostly blue eye and one light brown eye. Lucky is about 1 year old and weighs 47 pounds, but he should put on 5-7 pounds. He’s so incredibly loving and sweet, he thinks everyone he meets is his best friend. He’s loving and smart—he already knows sit and is very respectful. Lucky really enjoys being with people.
