Hi, my name is Bentley and I am from Minnesota. From his foster: Bentley is a curious and energetic boy who can be a little timid when he first meets you, but after a couple of days he really starts to get comfortable. He loves to go on walks and run around the yard, play fetch and lay on the couch with you. Bentley is also very receptive to training cues, especially when given a treat. Bentley would thrive with someone who is patient, willing to continue training, and active. Bentley has shown a lot of improvement with his back, he seems to have no issue being pet there anymore. Bentley is also a little sneaky and will try to slip through gaps in the door when he can to go outside and run around, continued training is advised. From the Vet: When Bentley came for his first exam at The BB Vet Center he was sensitive to touch on his back. He doesn't show any signs of pain in his foster home and right now he is only on an omega-3 supplement for joint support and doing very well!

Hi, my name is Braveheart and I am from Texas! From his foster: Braveheart is such a sweetheart. He loves to play and has tons of energy. He loves other dogs and always wants to play. His favorite toys are anything that squeaks! He loves car rides & will curl right up on the front seat and take a nap! He loves food & gets very excited for his meals. He sleeps in his crate at night. Potty training is in progress. He does know how to sit and is very treat motivated! He loves people & is always so excited to see them! He gets very sad when he’s left alone for long periods of time.. he loves being close to his people. He is working on leash training and will now sit and wait while we put the leash on to go outside. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Hello, my name is Benji! I am a very handsome young adult male Mini Aussiedoodle who doesn’t like a lot of commotion, but I love to cuddle, and I prefer women. Truth is, I am highly sensitive and reactive to ‘stranger danger’! That’s right, I react to people approaching the front door, coming into the house, and even people approaching my kennel. I know…it’s not something I’m proud of but I’m working on it…really, I am!! In fact, foster mom is trying to help me associate new people (strangers) with positive outcomes and I am confident that I will be successful in time but for now it is still a work in progress. In the meantime, mom sometimes puts a muzzle on me and although it doesn’t bother me at all I prefer, of course, not to wear it so my new family will need to commit to working with me on training. Muzzle training may make me look scary, but it allows me to safely meet and work on my training so I can be happy!  After all, consistency, patience, loving encouragement, and LOTS of mental and physical stimulation are the keys to my success!!! I am good with older kids, cats, and other dogs; and my favorite activities include going on my daily leashed walks or car rides; hiking; exploring; eating treats like plain Greek yogurt or pumpkin; playing with small squeaky toys and other dogs; chewing on Benebones; and running zoomies in the yard so the yard at my new home will need to be fenced! Hee, hee!! I also hope to have a small, confident doggie companion who might help me overcome some of my anxiety about strangers!!! By the way, I almost forgot to mention that I am a prodigy…no, really! I know everything from how to do my business outside to a deluge of commands like “sit”, “down”, “come”, “kennel/crate”, “wait”, “leave it”, “outside”, and “go potty”!! Thankfully, I enjoy learning, especially when I have a strong, confident, respectful leader, and I really love pleasing my people!! Anyway, foster mom says that I am the “most affectionate” dog she’s ever met and as hard as I try, I simply cannot disagree with her! Hee, hee!! All I need in my life now is YOU…a patient, unconditionally loving forever family who will not only NEVER give up on me but will commit to helping me overcome my fears!! I promise that not only am I totally worth it, but I will enrich your life in ways you could never imagine!!! Love, Benji Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.   This dog has received grooming with us at Underdog Rescue, but was likely neglected of grooming attention until he came into our care.  It can sometimes take months to get their coat healthy as Doodle mixes require daily brushing.  Grooming appointments occur every 3 months and cost on average of $150 per appointment.  Adopters should be prepared for such expenses.  Underdog Rescue cannot guarantee the non-shedding or hypoallergenic qualities of this dog.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Visit this link  www.underdogrescuemn.com/donate   to donate.  (Please note: A Paypal account is not necessary to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal page, just use the link to the left of their login to make your donation via Paypal without an account.) January 28, 2026, 9:35 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Rosa – the Sweetest Soul with the Coolest Eyes in Texas! Rosa is a 2-year-old, 42-lb Australian Shepherd/Kelpie mix with a uniquely colored coat that makes her as beautiful outside as she is inside! She’s gentle, easygoing, and about as drama-free as they come. If dogs had a “Most Likely to Be Everyone’s Favorite” award, Rosa would win it paws down. This lovely girl gets along beautifully with just about everyone—people, dogs, kids, new situations—you name it. She’s calm, confident, and refreshingly mellow for an Aussie mix. Think less “whirling devilish herding machine” and more “professional couch companion with occasional zoomies.” And let’s talk about those eyes! Rosa has one stunning blue eye and one soulful brown eye. According to urban legend, that means she can see things in heaven and on earth at the same time. Pretty cool superpower, right? Basically, she’s part dog, part magical guardian angel. Rosa also comes fully loaded with excellent house manners: • Crate trained ✔ • Housebroken with a dog door ✔ • Walks beautifully on leash ✔ • Polite, well-behaved house guest ✔ • Expert at giving soft, grateful looks ✔ She enjoys relaxed strolls, cozy naps, and being near her people. She’s the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into your life like she’s always been there. Now, cats are a hard no, sorry cat lovers, she’s not a fan (she believes they are tiny, suspicious aliens), so a feline-free home is a must. But with dogs and humans? She’s an absolute dream. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, go-with-the-flow companion who will make every day brighter just by existing in it, Rosa is ready to be your girl. Apply today and let this two-toned-eyed sweetheart see straight into your heart 💙🤎🐾

Story
Introducing Zeke, a truly remarkable pup whose heartwarming spirit and playful energy are ready to light up a new home. Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Hi, my name is Sassy and I am from Arkansas! This beautiful Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix came all the way from Arkansas, and she’s ready to find a loving home of her own! Sassy is sweet, friendly, and great with kids, the perfect mix of playful energy and gentle affection. She has a problem with excessive barking when left alone that will need some training on, but otherwise she's perfect! She can’t wait to meet her forever family and start her next adventure! From her foster: Sassy is very fun loving as she has a blast playing with my dogs and does the cutest play bow Sassy is also just gorgeous with her markings She also loves her people and soaks up the attention She is doing well with her housetraining and crate training , She is treat motivated From the Medical Team: Sassy has been diagnosed with suspected. Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) While this means she is a little wobbly on her feet and has a charming head tilt, it is not painful, not progressive, and doesn’t stop her from living a long, happy, and healthy life. She just navigates the world with a little extra character!
