Story
Halo has been a beloved family dog since the day we brought her home. She is attached to me at the hip and is my most loyal companion. She’s always shown those typical Australian shepherd tendencies of being reactive to specific things. Once you get to know what makes her uncomfortable she is easily managed. We recently had a baby and I was worried to say the least. But she did AMAZING with our newborn I was so beyond thankful. But now my baby is 10 months old… she’s getting Mobil, she’s getting grabby, and Halo is becoming uncomfortable being around her and I don’t trust her as she has nipped other dogs before and ONLY at people when they put there face into her face… she does NOT like that and will nip. This is not a chance I’m willing to take when it comes to my baby. I’m heartbroken to say the least. I want nothing but the absolute best for Halo to have a long and happy life even if I’m not the one that can provide that for her as I had planned…

Hi, my name is Samoa and I am from Georgia! From her foster: Samoa is an absolute sweetheart! She loves to cuddle and play with toys and pretty much do anything that gets her love and attention. She is rambunctious and curious and loves to investigate everything with a sniff, making us think she has some kind of hound (beagle or other) in her. She is incredibly smart and eager to learn - she’s already learned sit, down, and touch and potty training has been a breeze. She sleeps in her crate without issue and has minimal complaints spending time in it throughout the day - so long as you give her a treat, she is having a good time.

She is very wise and catches on and adapts so quick to everything. She is by far the baby in my house with all the other resident and foster animals however, is not shy or concerned about her size or age. She acts like a BIG dog and plays hard, loves hard and crashes hard. She is so playful and knows boundaries already from me and the "BIG" dog and when she can push the limits and when to listen wisely. She is very independent too, she can play by herself, sleep when she wants, and doesn't back down to a challenge with anything. She aims to please. She is a snuggle bug too and is the 1st one to want lovings and praise. She is loved so much.

Hi, my name is Acadia and I am from Georgia! I’m told I’m the sweetest puppy! I’ve learned so much with my foster family already. I have lots of energy, and I love to prance and play in the yard with my toys! I'm also a respectful housemate; I give my resident dogs and cats their space, they don't like to play as much as me. My foster mom also says I was a very good girl when I met a tiny human! I am super food motivated, which makes learning new commands my favorite game. I’m a smart girl working hard on my house training and always go in my preferred spot outside. I might grumble about my kennel, but once I’m in, I settle down quickly, ready to recharge my batteries, Energizer Bunny-style! I’m looking for a loving home that can keep up with my enthusiasm. He is very social with the other resident dogs and cats, however his loves to play hide the toys and scatter them everywhere all by himself! Hi is the typical food crazed puppy, but that works well with training He is so sweet and tender and loves to snuggle on the couch with his buddies. He also rarely barks and is the playful chewer/biter from teething unlike some of the more aggressive pups I've had. HE IS VERY LOYAL AND LOOKING FOR APPROVAL ALWAYS. Hence, would do great as a single animal home or would do fabulous in any home, fitting right in immediately! Love him!
