He's a sweet boy who's still working on being comfortable being left on his own. With his people and dog friends Rocco is an attentive, smart, and loving dog While he can startle easily at sudden movement, he is more curious than timid and will inspect and accept new things if given a moment to approach on his own terms. He coat is puppy soft and he has a gentle way of taking treats and getting your attention with his paw. He is too gentlemanly to jump on you. He's easy to walk and checks in with you as he goes. He would love to play with other dogs. He seems to have a strong love to chase but not catch or retrieve. Rocco would do best in a cat-free home. He jumps right in the car and is an excellent passenger.

Hi, my name is Bliz and I am from Arkansas! I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. She takes her role as household “supervisor” very seriously—always watching, learning, and keeping an eye on both her people and her dog friends.   Dove came from a small backyard breeder, and because of her past, the world can still feel overwhelming and unfamiliar. She is a more sensitive, fearful dog who will need a very patient and understanding home—but despite her challenges, Dove is genuinely a  happy  girl. Her little tail is almost always wagging, and she clearly finds joy in being part of a home and a routine. While she may not show affection in traditional ways, Dove bonds deeply in her own quiet way. She likes to stay within eyesight of her person, wags when spoken to, and settles nearby just to be close. Her love is subtle, gentle, and incredibly special.   Dove absolutely adores small dogs and will require another small, confident dog in her home. She looks to them for comfort and companionship and truly lights up around them, often adjusting her energy to match theirs in a very sweet, intuitive way.   Because of her sensitive nature, Dove can feel overwhelmed in loud or busy environments and will thrive in a calm, structured home that understands and respects her boundaries.   She is still learning that she is safe, and her adopter will need to meet her where she is without rushing the process. Human touch is still very scary for her, and she is not currently able to be handled, though she has made small, meaningful progress. Because of this, she is a high flight risk and will need extremely secure handling and containment. A secure, fenced yard is strongly preferred, as leash work is currently very challenging for her.   Dove also cannot do stairs or jumping, so a single-level home where she can move around comfortably or a home where stairs are not required to go in and out would be beneficial. Due to her handling sensitivities and current setup, she is not yet potty trained and will need continued patience and support in this area. She also shows signs of kennel trauma and cannot be crated or confined, but she does very well when left loose in the home and typically settles quickly to rest.   Despite everything, Dove is incredibly smart, curious, and playful. Her little brain is always working, and she loves toys, puzzles, and especially “collecting” treasures around the house—anything from socks to towels to boxes. Her adopter should be prepared for a bit of dog-proofing to keep her safe and set up for success.   Medically, Dove has a fat sensitivity and will need to remain on a prescription low-fat diet long-term, along with using a slow feeder bowl.   Dove will be a great companion for someone who understands and is willing to give her the time and space she needs, she is truly something special. I am a very handsome young adult male Mini Aussiedoodle who doesn’t like a lot of commotion, but I love to cuddle, and I prefer women. Truth is, I am highly sensitive and reactive to ‘stranger danger’! That’s right, I react to people approaching the front door, coming into the house, and even people approaching my kennel. I know…it’s not something I’m proud of but I’m working on it…really, I am!! In fact, foster mom is trying to help me associate new people (strangers) with positive outcomes and I am confident that I will be successful in time but for now it is still a work in progress. In the meantime, mom sometimes puts a muzzle on me and although it doesn’t bother me at all I prefer, of course, not to wear it so my new family will need to commit to working with me on training. Muzzle training may make me look scary, but it allows me to safely meet and work on my training so I can be happy!  After all, consistency, patience, loving encouragement, and LOTS of mental and physical stimulation are the keys to my success!!! I am good with older kids, cats, and other dogs; and my favorite activities include going on my daily leashed walks or car rides; hiking; exploring; eating treats like plain Greek yogurt or pumpkin; playing with small squeaky toys and other dogs; chewing on Benebones; and running zoomies in the yard so the yard at my new home will need to be fenced! Hee, hee!! I also hope to have a small, confident doggie companion who might help me overcome some of my anxiety about strangers!!! By the way, I almost forgot to mention that I am a prodigy…no, really! I know everything from how to do my business outside to a deluge of commands like “sit”, “down”, “come”, “kennel/crate”, “wait”, “leave it”, “outside”, and “go potty”!! Thankfully, I enjoy learning, especially when I have a strong, confident, respectful leader, and I really love pleasing my people!! Meet Spark, a mid‑December 2025 baby with long legs, a soft heart, and a whole lot of devotion packed into his 16 pounds. This Border Collie mix is the perfect blend of silly and snuggly. He trots around with puppy confidence, playing with toys and enjoying life. When it’s time for a break, he wants to be near his people, chilling out together. Spark’s favorite thing in life is people. Dogs are fun, toys are good, but his person is everything. He plays well with the other dogs in his foster home, but he consistently chooses human companionship over canine company. He’ll be happiest with a family that enjoys a dog-friendly active lifestyle and carries a calm, easygoing energy. Think walks, exploring new places, and then relaxing together afterward. Daily exercise will keep him happy. He’s curious about the world and has already experienced car rides, new environments, suburban sights and sounds, and meeting new dogs. He’s comfortable around cats, giving them a polite sniff before moving on. Best in a home with kids roughly 10 and over. Spark is working hard on house training and does best with a predictable schedule. He needs frequent breaks at this age. Crating isn’t his favorite, but he settles best when he can see or hear his person nearby. On leash, he’s still figuring things out, primarily by following the lead of older, more experienced dogs. Spark will do well with a canine sibling and can be an only dog. Families with herding‑breed experience is preferred to help guide his bright, sensitive mind. Hi there! My name is Roxie, and I’m a one‑year‑old Border Collie mix with a big smile, a bigger heart, and 30 pounds of enthusiasm. People describe me as friendly, happy, curious, playful, energetic, and athletic. I love life, and I love sharing it with the people and dogs around me. I'm a sweetheart ready to give kisses anytime! My favorite things in the whole world are playing with my foster dog siblings, attention from humans, and, of course, food. Once I’ve had a chance to stretch my legs, I’m learning how to settle nicely in the house. I’m an active girl, so I’d be happiest with a family that enjoys getting outside and exploring. Before this thing called rescue, my life was pretty quiet and I didn’t get out a lot. My heart lies in peaceful places like parks or wooded trails. My foster family wants me to have a fabulous life, so they take me on a fun adventure every day. I’m getting braver all the time: we go to town and walk where there’s traffic and new noises, and we meet new people. It’s pretty cool. A fenced yard would be great for me, but it’s not required if my family can keep me safe on leash and let me run in a safe space. I am gentle with children who have dog experience – especially if they will rub my belly. Another friendly, playful dog in my new home is my biggest wish! Having a canine buddy gives me confidence and makes everything more fun. It’s probably best if I live in a cat-free home because I like chasing them. I’ve heard of this thing called obedience classes and can’t wait to sign up! My foster family is teaching me a lot: keeping four paws on the floor, what to chew on and they keep me on a potty training schedule that works perfectly! I’m smart and learn quickly. Hi there, I’m Flash! I’m a happy, cuddly, sweet, roughly 18# Border Collie mix puppy born in mid-December 2025. I'm READY to find my forever family. My foster family says I’m a really good boy who just wants to be someone’s best pal, and they sure got that right! My favorite things are simple: I love following my human around to see what they’re doing and playing fetch. If you toss a toy for me, I will happily bring it back and do it all over again. I like being part of whatever my people are doing, whether that’s going for a walk, hanging out in the yard, or just moving from room to room together. I have medium energy, which means I’m not a couch potato, but I’m not wild and crazy either. I would be happiest with an adventurous, active family that wants a buddy for walks, outings, and playtime. I stick close to my people and would be ok in a home without a fence, maybe working my way up to offleash privileges with solid recall training. I get along great with other dogs, even small ones, and I would really enjoy having a canine sibling to play with.
