Halo has been a beloved family dog since the day we brought her home. She is attached to me at the hip and is my most loyal companion. She’s always shown those typical Australian shepherd tendencies of being reactive to specific things. Once you get to know what makes her uncomfortable she is easily managed. We recently had a baby and I was worried to say the least. But she did AMAZING with our newborn I was so beyond thankful. But now my baby is 10 months old… she’s getting Mobil, she’s getting grabby, and Halo is becoming uncomfortable being around her and I don’t trust her as she has nipped other dogs before and ONLY at people when they put there face into her face… she does NOT like that and will nip. This is not a chance I’m willing to take when it comes to my baby. I’m heartbroken to say the least. I want nothing but the absolute best for Halo to have a long and happy life even if I’m not the one that can provide that for her as I had planned…

Hi! My name is Wyatt, and I am from Tennessee! From his foster: Wyatt is such a sweet, calm, happy go lucky puppy! He is a dream on a leash, for a puppy. He's curious, friendly with everyone, and everything! He loves playing with kids and other dogs. We call him the house decorator because he picks things up randomly then puts them elsewhere in the room (or house). Toys, shoes, boxes, socks, cups if he can pick up he will find it a new spot. Most things don't have marks on them even! He's already making so much progress with potty training and crate training! He's still over 50% off the way there for both! Sometimes he's the"annoying little brother" to older dogs to get them to play more. He will pester the other dog to play with him until they do, which some grumpier dogs may not like. We are sure he will be a great dog to a wonderful family!!

Hi! My name is Millie, and I am from Oklahoma! From her foster: Millie, Miss Millie, Millicent, Millie Billie is a very sweet, very playful puppy ready to find her forever home! She loves to play tug with her humans and to play with chew toys. After that, she’s also perfectly happy to settle in for a movie night on the couch! She would thrive in a household with another dog to wrestle around with, but could also be an only dog with proper socialization. Since she’s a puppy, she’s still working on reading cues from other dogs to stop play and her size might be an issue with smaller dogs in those scenarios. But her demeanor is always friendly and playful! Her foster has been working on recall training to solve for this, and she’s been getting better but would be better suited with a dog of similar size. Because of all the love she has to give, Millie gets very excited when humans come home or new humans come over, and she has a tendency to jump up on visitors. She quickly corrects with down/off cues and lower energy greetings, but because of this would do best in a household with older or no children. She does well on a leash with some tugging, which could easily be corrected with more practice. She can be kenneled with some protest, but then settles in nicely. She’s only had one accident while she’s lived with her foster, and is considered mostly potty trained with regular outside time. Millie is a very special dog who will be a great companion for an active household ready to play and receive all the affection she has to offer!

He loves sitting in your lap, giving smooches, and resting his paws on you just to stay close. :) Bentley is house trained and sleeps like a champ through the night in his crate. He’s at his best with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and time together. He does great with other dogs. My adoption includes some training sessions for my new family to set me up for success! Bentley is a curious boy and eager to please. When he’s excited for attention, he may use his mouth to communicate. When something feels new or uncomfortable, he may use nipping to say, “I’m not sure about this.” He’s already making great progress and gaining confidence every day, but he’ll need continued training and positive reinforcement to build good habits. He listens really well. Bentley will thrive in a home with supportive, patient, and dog-experienced people who enjoy helping a young dog learn and grow. Give Bentley your love, and he’ll make you his whole world. From the Vet: When Bentley came for his first exam at The BB Vet Center he was sensitive to touch on his back. He doesn't show any signs of pain in his foster home and right now he is only on an omega-3 supplement for joint support and doing very well!

Hi, my name is Yosemite and I am from Georgia! From his foster: Yosemite is such a funny, playful independent little guy! He is very social with the other resident dogs and cats, however his loves to play hide the toys and scatter them everywhere all by himself! Hi is the typical food crazed puppy, but that works well with training He is so sweet and tender and loves to snuggle on the couch with his buddies. He also rarely barks and is the playful chewer/biter from teething unlike some of the more aggressive pups I've had. HE IS VERY LOYAL AND LOOKING FOR APPROVAL ALWAYS. Hence, would do great as a single animal home or would do fabulous in any home, fitting right in immediately! Love him!
