Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park. We adopted Riz a little over a year ago. She has been such a great addition to our family and it is very hard to have her go to another family. Unfortunately my family and I have fallen on hard times and do not have a place of our own to be able to keep her. Rizzy loves being outside, playing with toys and snuggles!

Ace is a very loving 13 month old Miniature American/Australian Sheperd. We adopted Ace in April 2025 directly from a well-known breeder and he is registered with the American Kennel Club (will have papers). Sadly, we are looking to rehome Ace and my wife and I both had a change in jobs which has us traveling heavily. He loves every bit of attention he can get and tries harder than any other dog we've had to please his humans. He is great with kids, other dogs (once he's met them), and has even become good friends with our cat. They play together every day (or just ignore each other if not playing). He has no known health issues and we have also run a full DNA test from Embark confirming his good health and lineage. He was neutered at 5-6 months. He is house trained with very few accidents, kennel trained, responds to basic commands, does not run off/out when doors are opened, etc. We paid over $3K to adopt him, costs for neutering, and all current exams/shots (over $5k total).
