Story

We have had Oliver since he was just weeks old and he has always been such a loving pup. He was given to my daughter by a friend. He has always been an indoor dog and he was potty trained pretty easily. He is great with children, as long as we had him never had issues with him. He loves attention and for people to pet him. He is not a barker, only when he wants to get someone's attention or when he really needs to go potty. He has been around dogs but gets a bit nervous with bigger dogs. Although we marked him as a border collie, because that is what his paperwork says, he is mixed with another breed, not sure what it is. Our family loves Oliver, we are just in a different season in life and our family situation has changed. Our schedules have gotten pretty busy and my daughter has gone off to college. We have tried everything we can but we are at a point where we feel like he needs to be with someone who can attend to him and give him the love and care that he deserves.

Sweet precious little Raine was brought to ER with a severed leg and needed immediate surgery. They called us for helping give this young puppy a chance at a good life. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Let's Help Make His Wish Come True! Wishbone is an adorable male pup, most similar to his mother (Birdie) in size & markings. He'll be a medium size dog, sturdy but light. He was the smallest in his litter of four. His fur is turning out to be medium length. We believe there's border collie & cattle dog in their breed mix.. with a lot of cuteness sprinkled in! Wishbone was rescued at Thanksgiving along with his mama dog and littermates. He prefers to grab on to you like a rock climber when he is held, rather than melting in your arms or lap... but he will sit with you for hours.💛 He's not the most confident dog & will benefit from having a canine companion, as well as lots of attention from his humans. Aruna and her sister, Star, were picked up at the Lowe's in Greenville Texas. They were very much still puppies at the time and almost feral. Aruna is very much a talker, but one of the sweetest dogs we've ever seen. She LOVES getting in the pool, she adores getting attention and her favorite thing to do is play with her sister. Aruna is a gorgeous, vibrant red color and she has the best smile. She can be very shy in new situations, but once she opens up she's a great girl.

Star and her sister, Aruna, were picked up at the Lowe's in Greenville, Texas. They were still very young and almost feral. Star behaved very much like an Australian Cattle Dog...she makes a lot of noise when she plays with her sister, but that's all it is. She does try to herd all the other dogs, but is very sweet with people. She does like to dip her feet into the large tub of water and look for things she thinks she needs to eat. She could use a person who is familiar with Cattle Dogs and their behavior.
