Story
We rescued Finley in October of 2024.He is the sweetest dog anyone could ask for. So smart and full of energy! We’ve been struggling with rehoming him because we love him so much but sadly we’ve delayed this long enough. Our lives are really busy and we hoped that we would be able to make it work. With us traveling constantly and the increased cost of boarding him along with vet visits have left us no other choice.Finley will be a great addition to anyone’s family.

Story
***  SOOKIE IS A COURTESY POST  ***  INTERESTED APPLICANTS WILL BE DIRECTED TO CURRENT GUARDIARN *** Meet Sookie – Brains, Bounce, and a Big Border Collie Heart Sookie is the kind of dog who turns a backyard into her own agility stadium. With her athletic build, sharp focus, and joyful leaps, this gorgeous Border Collie absolutely loves practicing jumps and showing off her impressive air. Watching her mid-flight is like seeing a tiny four-legged gymnast in action. But Sookie is more than an athlete. Once she knows you, her serious “working dog” expression softens into something incredibly sweet. She leans in for affection, seeks out her person, and happily melts into pets after a good play session. With her people, Sookie is deeply loyal and wonderfully affectionate in that special Border Collie way. She forms a close bond and loves being near the person she trusts. Because Sookie is thoughtful and sensitive, she thrives with a home that understands her need for a little time and patience when meeting new people. She isn’t the “center of the party with strangers” type. She’s more of a “let’s get to know each other first” kind of girl. Give her that space, and the reward is an incredibly devoted companion. Sookie would do best in a home that can provide: • Slow, positive introductions to new people• A calm environment without small children• A cat-free home• Either life as an only dog or with a very playful, well-matched canine friend• Thoughtful, gradual introductions to other dogs An active home that appreciates the brilliant Border Collie mind will be the perfect match. Whether it’s agility, training games, hiking, or simply learning new things together, Sookie is ready to partner with someone who enjoys engaging both her brain and her athletic spirit. At the end of the day, after the jumps are cleared and the energy is spent, Sookie’s favorite place is right beside her person, soaking up affection and enjoying the quiet connection she values so deeply. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who can soar over jumps and then curl up close for cuddles, Sookie might just be your perfect teammate. ##2678098##

Story
Meet Bandit! Bandit is a handsome 4-year-old Border Collie weighing 47 pounds. This intelligent, loyal boy is looking for a fresh start with a family who understands the wonderful qualities of the breed and can give him the attention and companionship he deserves. Bandit is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys the freedom of relaxing in the home with his people. He's an active, smart dog who will thrive with regular exercise, mental enrichment, and a consistent routine. Bandit has lived with children and has also been around cats. However, he will need to be the only pet in the home so he can enjoy being the center of his family's attention. Bandit is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on his rabies vaccine, and up to date on his basic vaccinations. His adoption fee is $125. If you're looking for a loyal companion and think Bandit could be the perfect addition to your family, complete an adoption application today: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. A bit nervous at first. Likes to snuggle once she gets to know you. Loves "Easy Cheese"! Super high energy, dances around on her back legs. Potty trained. Knows sit, paw, and good on a leash. Luna is currently in a foster home. She doesnt like to be touch in the face so she will do better in a home with older kids. She can still be met with and adopted, but by appointment only.
