Story
Lucky is a health 5 yr old pyrinese/aussie. 70 lbs. He is so sweet. I adopted him 3 yrs ago from the dallas animal shelter. He is house broken. I have a large doggie door, so he is used to coming and going as he likes. If in a closed room, he'll scratch the door to let me know. He is good, playful with other dogs. No so much with cats. I think he would be good with older kids, but maybe to strong for younger on. I need knee replacement and won't be able to care for him.

Story
Meet Kayla! She is an 8 year old female Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix that weighs 48lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray on 6/2. What a beautiful girl she is! She is nervous being at the shelter and paces during our time together. The more time spent with her she comes to me to be petted. Sweet Kayla walks well on a leash and enjoyed going for a stroll to stretch her legs. Tho her fur appeared to be somewhat clean, her ears did show she had lived outside due to fly bites on her ears. As we walked past other dogs barking at her she was somewhat intimidated, but didn`t have any reaction. She didn`t show any interest in my treats, but I`m sure with the right one she will love them! She would love to find that special family that can shower her with all the love she so rightly deserves. Having a secured yard to stroll in then live inside to snooze the night away on her own dog bed is what she dreams of. Can you give this lovely girl the life she deserves?

This sudden turn of events left Daisy heartbroken and bewildered, as her familiar world crumbled around her. Now, in a new environment, Daisy is in the process of adapting to her changed circumstances. As we uncover more about Daisy's personality and journey, her bio and photos will be updated to reflect the resilient and lovable spirit that defines her.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess
