DOB 11/03/24 High Energy Adult-Only Home Preferred Not Best for Apartments Working on Housetraining Requires a Fence Dog Friendly Playful Snuggly Hi! My name is Ross, I’m a beagle mix puppy. My momma is a beautiful 17 lbs petite beagle, and according to my littermate’s DNA test result, I am 50% beagle, 30% Collie, 9% Boston Terrier with some other mixed breed. At 13 weeks old I weigh 15 lbs. I have big floppy beagle ears and a curious nose. My soft short coat with unique color and markings can be from Collie, Boston Terrier, and other mixed breeds. Still, I am a typical fun-loving high-energy beagle boy with a super cuddly sweet teddy bear personality. I grew up with my Momma and 5 siblings at my foster family’s home and also I spend lots of time with my foster brother Beagle and 2 Irish Setters. I’m very social and get along with everyone in the family. My foster mom says I’m the family’s favorite and can make anyone happy. If you want a warm, soft, cuddly, and full-of-energy bundle of joy in your life, fill out an adoption application or contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor right away! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). ---------------------------- Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy

GEORGE Attributes Snuggly Needs Another Dog Not good in an apartment Housetrained Requires a fence Dog friendly High energy Bad in car My name is George and my foster parents say I'm a great dog!! My collar says it too, it says “bestest boy”! I'm a young beagle 2-3 years old. I LOVE playing with other dogs, and I LOVE cuddling with the humans here!! I will trust fall into your lap. I listen pretty well for a beagle and will do anything for a treat. I get lots of treats to go outside so house training has gone really well. I'm also kind of crate trained, I sleep in my crate at night and I stay there when my foster parents are at work for a few hours during the day, but I do bark a little bit. I will stop for a peanut butter-stuffed Kong. They joke they should have named me Tigger because I jump up and down and twist when I get excited for food!! I'm pretty smart and might be a good dog for agility or even a barn hunt, I would love doggy daycare. I am a very social dog with the other dogs. I get car sick (which is why I am not great in the car). If I take medication for car sickness, I am good. If you think I’m the boy you’ve been looking for, contact your Midwest BREW counselor right away and ask about George! DUKE TOO Attributes Dog friendly Crate trained Likes car rides Not best for apartments High energy Needs a fence Will potty on a leash Working on housetraining Hello! My name is Duke Too, I am a beagle mix, at almost 2 years old, and full of energy. I’d make a great companion for an avid walker, hiker, or runner, or an active family with children over the age of 12. A home with a fenced-in yard where I can burn off excess energy by running and playing would be ideal. For the most part, I know I am supposed to go potty outside and I will go to the door to let my foster parents know. I have only had a few accidents in the house. I am good in the crate and go into it at night without any issues. I do like to talk in the morning to let everyone know it is time to go out, so I wouldn’t do the best in an apartment or condo. I love my foster family's children, being with my human family, giving kisses, and receiving lots of attention is one of my favorite things! I love to run! I get the zoomies regularly and race around the house trying to get someone to chase me! I love playing fetch and I am happy to return the ball as long as you are willing to throw it. I have a lot of puppyness in me still but I am working on how walking on a leash and how to “sit” and “leave it”. When my foster mom works at home, I love to curl up near her and take a nap. I love to be outside and guard the yard from birds, bunnies, and squirrels, so I would love a nice big fenced yard of my own to run and play! I do like to try to go thru the door first, so my foster mom is working with me on my manners. I am so excited to find my forever family. I have so much love to give! If you think you have my perfect home, my foster mom would love to talk to you. Thank you! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

BEAU Attributes Dog friendly Good on car rides Housetrained Will potty on leash Howdy. Beau is a southern boy who is all gentleman. Beau weighs 22 lbs, is about a year old, and has a red coat and beautiful green eyes.  He is a little timid but warms up quickly.   Beau likes to play but he loves to snuggle.  He is not a fan of his crate but sleeps at night and will go in to eat his meals without being asked. He is house-trained. Beau is super sweet. He is becoming more inquisitive as he feels more comfortable in his foster home. He loves toys and chewy ones are the best. Beau would make a great family dog he is very gentle.   Contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor if you think Beau is the guy for you! Story
PRANCER Attributes: Dog friendly Housetrained Good on car rides Crate trained Medium energy Not best for apartments Snuggly Weight: 34.7 lbs My name is Prancer and my foster parents say that I am an easygoing, chill boy. I am a medium-energy pup. My foster mom says that after breakfast every morning, I have an energy burst and I get the zoomies. I recently started showing an interest in toys and I like to drag them out through the doggy door into the yard. I have also dragged out my dog bed and blankets outside too! I have mild separation anxiety and I will whine a little if my foster mom or dad leave the room I tend to look for ”new” things to play with (like a roll of toilet paper, recyclables in the recycle bin, or area rugs). So, I am crated if they have to leave the house for a while. I sleep in my crate at night with soft music playing. I go to my crate when I need a little privacy too. I am a Beagle and eating is a passion! I eat 2 times daily and I take treats very gently. I’ve also recently learned that the couch is a very comfy place to take a good nap. My foster mom has started to teach me to sit for a treat and I’m doing pretty good! She has also been showing me that snuggles are a good thing and I have been approaching her for snuggles. I get along well with the resident Beagles here and we look forward to our daily runs in a private dog park. I do like to trail scents so foster parents are working on recall which I am improving at. I also walk very nicely on a leash. The resident cat is grumpy and she scares me so I leave her alone but I do have thoughts of giving her a little chase. I really like meeting people and love the attention I get but I have always been a polite boy when I meet people too. I am a hound so I would like to have a fenced yard. I just need a family that will care for me with lots of love because I am a super nice, gentle boy who loves to go for walks and be petted! If you think I might be the right boy for you, contact Midwest BREW and ask for more information about Prancer! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

BLAZE Attributes Crate-Trained Dog friendly House-trained Medium Energy Apartment friendly Snuggly Will potty on a leash Are you looking for a well-mannered beagle boy that will keep you warm through this winter season? Look no further! Blaze is an awesome beagle. He came to Midwest BREW from southern Ohio when a caring couple rescued him after years of being tied to a doghouse. He will be 5 years old this May, and is around 25 lbs. He’s a super friendly, gentle, and sweet boy with medium energy. He has a warm and loving personality, loves food, plays with his toys, and LOVES being a lap dog! Blaze’s ideal home will be one that will give him lots of love, attention, and reassurance, and he is looking for a cuddle buddy! Blaze is very well-behaved and because of that, he has earned the right to not be crated when left alone. He is 100% house-trained and has not had any accidents in the weeks he has been here! Blaze is in superb health, and he is up-to-date with all of his shots and preventatives. He doesn’t bark much unless he sees animals outside, so apartment living may be an option as long as he gets lots of exercise. Blaze does great on a leash, but he is still timid and nervous with car rides, where he prefers to sit on the floor. He gets along with other dogs and attends doggy daycare a few times a week; however, he shows his insecurity whenever another dog gets attention, so he would be happier to have all of the attention to himself. A cat on the other hand doesn’t faze him. If you feel you are the right family and could welcome him into your home, please ask about Blaze! He’ll make your family grow by four feet!
