Sweet Opal was found in February 2021 with her babies. She was completely feral and seemed like she had never had human contact. She went to a foster home where she got to spend time with her babies until they were ready to be adopted. As soon as she was ready, she was brought to our facility where she would be in contact with more people and start socializing and trusting people. It has taken several months but the staff and volunteers can walk her on a leash a little bit more each day. Her friend Huey gives her more confidence. She would do good in a home where she can come and have her space and take her time to warm up. She will shy away and but does not get aggressive at all. That`s the reason we want her to make a smooth transition when finding her forever home. Opal would do great with a doggie sibling that could teach her to accept love and learn to be a happy trusting dog. We love her at the rescue and hope she finds that family to love and trust. Opal is believed to be between 2 and 3 years old. Kiwi is a super playful and smart girl. She even plays gently with smaller creatures like cats and rabbits. She is potty trained and has caught on quickly to simple commands like Sit and Stay. Kiwi is shy at first but quickly warms up. She was born 6/29/2019We got Kiwi & Peaches from the shelter as itty bitty pups, and soon found out that both of them had CHV (Canine Herpesvirus). Most puppies die at 2 weeks from this, however these two were fighters and besides runny noses here and there, are doing really well. They can have it the rest of their lifes and will be sick from time to time and because there is just not a lot documented on situations like this we have no idea what their future health could be. They should never be around puppies or attend public places or events.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. London is a beautiful ball of energy. She needs a large yard to burn off some of that energy. She gets along with our other dog (Blondie) but she is a jealous dog and can get a little aggressive at times at Blondie, but has not bitten anyone. She LOVES to jump and run as much as possible. She has not been around small children, so we’re not sure how she would do. She is a puppy at heart and loves to play; especially fetch & tug-a-war. We rescued her 2 years ago when she was nearly a year old.

This is Rip, he is not very big, house trained, crate trained, good with other dogs, doesn’t mind the inside cat but watches it. Sweet, polite, submissive, but needs a home with no horses or at least close site of them. Our old place wasn’t an issue but new house back yard borders the horse pasture and directly across from the barn, it drives him crazy to see them so close. We are afraid he or horses will get hurt or both if horse kicks thru fence at him or he were to get to them. He’s protective, will bark at strangers but will stop when told and immediately sit or retreat, he’s lovey and sweet. He loves attention but not pushy. Like a feather if he wants get in your lap. Waits till you tell him it’s ok to eat his food. Will include his crate.
