Snacks are absolutely the way to her heart - but she also has a delightful amount of pep and enthusiasm for life. This beautiful senior girl may have a calm, kind spirit, but don't let her gray hairs fool you - she has plenty of energy and enjoys lively walks, exploring the world with a happy tail, and engaging with her people. After her adventures, she's equally content to settle in for cozy naps and soak up affection. Maple came to us with a mammary tumor that was removed during her stay in our care. While testing showed that it had likely already metastasized, she currently shows no signs of illness. Her expected survival could be two years or more - but even if her time may be somewhat shorter, that only makes it more important that she find her forever home soon, with someone who will cherish her golden days. Maple is a "Pawspice" adoption, meaning the East Bay SPCA will provide specific ongoing support for her care going forward. Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy you will ever meet. He is a licking machine and will try to give you kisses any chance he gets. And don’t be deceived by his size, all 63lbs of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, jog with you, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going on outings and gets excited to go for car rides. Grayson is the ultimate adventure buddy and is always up for anything! Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated so you cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be jumpy when he gets excited, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs but can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. We have found that he is great with small dogs male or female! He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident small female dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to bigger male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs, with small dogs, or with dogs who are submissive. Fum aka Harley, is a playful and affectionate puppy that is looking for his forever home. He loves exploring and sniffing when out on his walks. He does well on the leash and will occasionally pull for a good sniff but quickly adjust with a little correction. He loves his toys but tends to tear up stuffies, he does best with heavy duty chews and tug toys. Fum is a smart boy already knowing commands like down and sit and is working on more. He is highly treat motivated and cataches on quickly, plus he is crate and potty trained like a champ. Fum is still very much a puppy and working out his puppy energy and needs training and exercise. Fum does well with other dogs, cats, and children, just exercise caution around young ones since he gets the zoomies. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. Hera is a sweet girl who is medium energy. She enjoys going for walks or a romp in the play yards, but in her kennel, she is quiet and usually curled up in her soft, cozy bed. She is a female Pit Bull type mix, who is approximately four years old, and currently weighs 58 pounds. She was brought to our shelter on 11/9/25 after being rescued from a neglectful situation where she was not being regularly fed. Under our care she has gained weight and her shiny coat is growing back, and now it's time for her to find the kind of loving home that she has probably never had.
