I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

I want Candy… and by Candy, I mean Bow Wow Wow! This sweet senior boy is serving up smiles, slobbery kisses, and one seriously adorable head tilt. With his distinguished white old man face and tongue permanently on display, Bow Wow Wow looks like he’s been waiting his whole life to become everyone’s favorite grandpa. He has some mobility issues, but that doesn’t stop him from being happy, affectionate, and absolutely convinced that every person he meets deserves a kiss. He’s got the face, the charm, and the personality. Honestly, Bow Wow Wow is the whole package. He’s less “who’s a good boy?” and more “HOW are you this adorable?" Here's some notes from his foster: He’s just a good, happy dog who happens to have some hind leg mobility issues. His legs don’t quite go where he wants, but it honestly doesn't slow him down at all. He still wobbles around at breakneck speeds because he approaches everything in life with so much enthusiasm and zest. He absolutely loves going on walks, sniffing everything, and greeting people and other dogs politely. He has a huge doggy smile and will lean right up against you—or even try to sit on you—just to get some love and cuddles. He is perfectly potty trained, has no issues doing his business outside, and will just walk to the door in the morning to let you know he needs to go. He also has a healthy appetite and loves food, but since he can't get up on the countertops, your snacks are totally safe. He also loves car rides and an open window to smell all the smells. He is a resilient, sweet guy who just wants to putter around and find someone to cuddle up with.

Thank you for your interest in this sweet girl. Ella has been adopted, Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.   She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.   Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park.
