🐾 Meet Polly — The Cutest Pocket Pittie! 💕
Polly is a 3-year-old pocket-sized Pittie with the sweetest soul and a whole lot of love to give. She may be little, but this girl has a BIG heart!
Polly is sweet, cuddly, and adventurous, and she is happiest when she is spending time with her people. Her perfect day? Give her some chew toys, let her have a little playtime, and then settle in for cuddles and a good nap. Honestly, Polly has mastered the art of living her best life. 🥰
Polly has a medium energy level. She enjoys playing and exploring, but she also knows how to relax. She absolutely loves her stuffies and chew toys—and apparently, shoes are pretty fantastic too! 👟😂 So her forever family should be prepared to keep those tempting treasures out of reach.
What Polly really wants is something she may not have had enough of in her past: her people. She loves attention and affection, and you can tell that having someone to love and be loved by means everything to her. Her foster family would love to see her go to someone who has time to spend with her and will show her just how wonderful it is to be part of a family.
Polly does wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine friend. She enjoys a playful home and would especially love a fenced yard where she can safely explore and enjoy some outdoor time.
When Polly first meets someone or enters a new environment, she can be a little nervous, but she warms up quickly. Once she realizes she's safe, her sweet personality comes shining through. She does well with children 10 and older.
Polly is crate trained and does well when left alone. She should continue to be crated when unsupervised. She is still working on potty training and leash skills, so her new family will need to be patient and consistent as she learns. She knows her name and “sit” and is eager to keep learning.
And when it comes to toys or food, Polly has no resource-guarding issues. She is simply a happy girl who wants to enjoy her toys and be near her people.

Polly is spayed and on monthly preventative.
Her foster family says it best:
“She is the absolute best dog I have ever met, given her history. I love her and I hope someone else can too.”

This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Please note that we cannot hold dogs for any reason.

Microchip registered to 24 Pet Watch for free
DHPP Vaccine series
Bordetella Vaccine
Leptospirosis Vaccine series
Rabies vaccine
4DX Heartworm test (7 months of age or older)
Spay/Neuter (performed at one of our partner veterinarians as scheduled by the rescue)
General wellness care (includes deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention)
