Bodie thrives in the company of other dogs and has become quite the social butterfly at Hounds Town, never failing to get the whole room moving with his infectious enthusiasm. Because of his high-energy nature, Bodie would do best in a home with kids 10 and older who can keep up with his playful spirit. A home without cats is preferred. If you're looking for a fun-loving, active companion who will bring excitement and joy into your life, Bodie is the perfect pup for you! Patty is a one-year-old Mini Pittie (30 pounds) with a heart just as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She arrived at the shelter as a stray in rough shape, battling a painful skin infection and splayed feet—likely from spending far too long confined to a kennel. Understandably, she was timid and unsure of the world around her. When approached, Patty would simply melt to the floor, hoping to go unnoticed. To help her build confidence, Patty spent plenty of time in our front office, getting used to the daily rhythm of staff and visitors. With patience, kindness, and lots of reassurance, she slowly began to blossom—and what a joy it has been to watch her transformation. Now, Patty’s silly and playful personality shines bright. She absolutely loves toys and will happily rifle through the toy bins to find her next favorite. She has done well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. Most of all, Patty soaks up words of affirmation and compliments like sunshine—tell her she’s a good girl, and you’ll see her light up from the inside out. Patty has come such a long way and is ready for a home where she can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished the way she deserves.
