Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. Gypsy was a stray. A man in Raymond, Mississippi found her and took her to the pound. They were going to euthanize her, and he took her home. She did not like his cats, so he surrendered her to us. She LOVES to run and play, and she needs a lot of exercise. She does good with most all dogs, but she is shy when she meets new people. Gypsy does not like cats! Once she warms up to people, she just wants to give kisses! Her ideal home would be a person or family that has a large yard for her to run and play in. She would be the best dog to do activities with or just cuddle with on the couch. She should be fine in a large, fenced yard. She can be hyper at times but settles down nicely inside with a chew toy. East TN. Out of state welcome! If you are seeing this on adopt a pet the float for transport and health certificates for travel are included in the adoption fee. Transport may be available to your area in the northeast or Great Lakes areas. We use Rescue riders for our transport needs because they are amazing with our pups! Meet Thumper! This little guy is about 40 lbs of playful and fun energy. He’s sweet and good with people and other dogs. He’s about 2.5 years old and is a mixed breed but a really cool Mixed breed. I mean look at his cute ears. He’s adorable. He’s already crate trained and house trained. NO CATS. He is not fond of cats. Probably won’t do well with smaller rodent type animals either. He will scream SQUIRREL! And the rest is history. Haha. He would do well with children over the age of 10 because he’s very playful and may knock smaller children down during playtime. This sweetheart was found wondering on the side of a road and we aren't sure why! She is an amazing dog!! She gets along with all dogs and loves playing with puppies. She is housetrained with a doggy door and does well on a leash. She learns commands fairly quickly and is just wonderful!! She is our meet and greet dog who is just a happy baby. She does get attached to “her person” and will follow them everywhere but we feel it's because she was dumped. we aren't sure if she's been around cats but can learn those rules. She has the Boxer play, long legs and sounds like she's gonna kill something, but it's all bluster. She has another Boxer she loves to play with and they go rounds together. She likes kids and isn't too shy of strangers. She's just a great, great dog and we want her to find her perfect family. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Introducing TROY, a very handsome Pit Bull Terrier mix who is around 4-5 years of age and weighs about 48 pounds. We ran a DNA test for Troy and he is a mixture of American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, and "Supermutt". Troy is a very loving dog who wants to snuggle and be close to his foster family. He lives with two medium/small dogs and a female Pit Bull mix, as well as two children under the age of 13; he gets along with the other dogs but doesn't "need" another dog to be happy. Troy loves playing frisbee, chasing his tennis ball, or playing with his rope toy in the fenced yard. In addition, he absolutely loves going on long walks - which he currently gets twice a day. He would make a great running/jogging partner too. Troy is a smart dog who learns quickly and knows commands like sit, shake, down, and stay. For inside the home, Troy does best in a calm home. Troy needs a patient slow introduction with new people and new dogs because he is cautious; once he get to know a person, he loves them unconditionally. Troy's adopter will need to be a knowledgeable prior dog owner who can be a leader for Troy. He is approved for households with adults and children over 13. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, is current on inoculations, been tested for diseases and placed on monthly Heartworm preventative, plus neutered and microchipped. Introducing WILLOW, a wonderful 6 1/2 year old, 70 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix who is calm and quiet, and doesn't like a lot of commotion. She is a gentle, sweet girl who will make a great addition to most adult households. Willow's favorite time of day is when she gets to go for a long walk on the nature trail with her foster dad; she really enjoys spending that time outside, smelling the air, and watching the wildlife. In addition, Willow enjoys simply being with her person whether he's on the floor meditating or hanging out watching TV with Willow laying next to him and snuggling. Willow has good house manners and does not require crating when her foster dad leaves the house. Willow would enjoy a fenced-in yard too; she previously lived with a German Shepherd for most of her life so we think she would be OK living with another similar sized dog who is calm and easy-going. Willow is initially timid meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she is very loyal and loving. She is approved for households with adults and children over 12 years of age. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, been wormed, tested for diseases, spayed, and microchipped. This cutie is Dixie, a 6 year old, 50 pound Pit Bull mix who is short in stature, and as sweet as pie with a little bit of spunk thrown in. Dixie loves giving kisses, really enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, and exploring and relaxing in the fenced in yard. Dixie warms up quickly to women and older children. When excited, she’ll get the zoomies and make the cutest noises. Dixie has been playful with most of the dogs in her foster home; she would be OK as the “one and only” dog in the home. She has good house manners and does not need to be crated when left alone.  Dixie came to our rescue after a neglectful owner kept her in the basement as a “breeding machine” for years. Despite that horrible existence, it did not affect her from being one of the sweetest little dogs. She will make a great addition to most households and is approved for households with children over the age of 10.  This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, provided inoculations, been tested for disease, had a blood panel run (healthy), been dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.
