Her beautiful brindle coat is reminiscent of a little tiger, and her white paws look like she's wearing socks — long ones in the front and short ones in the back. Lily is doing well with going potty outside and walks well on a leash. She is curious about people food but gives up fast when told no. She is working on commands and is a quick learner. After everything she has been through, Lily deserves a family who will show her what forever really means. Meet Rudy 💙 Rudy is 5-6 years old and is a deeply affectionate, people-loving boy who thrives on closeness with his humans. He loves cuddling, being petted, and will happily sleep next to you at night. Wherever you go, Rudy is likely to follow — often carrying his favorite soothing toy in his mouth for comfort. He is good with other dogs, big and small. He is also good with little kids. Rudy knows basic commands and is fully housebroken, which makes settling into a new home much easier. He enjoys playtime, especially tug-of-war, and he takes his toy destruction job very seriously (squeaker toys beware!). He walks well on leash and does best wearing a harness, ideally a front-clip harness. He may pull a little and can bark when he sees people out on walks, but he recovers quickly and continues on. This behavior appears to be excitement or uncertainty rather than aggression, and with consistency, patience, and positive training, it continues to improve. Rudy is not a fan of being confined away from his people. He will voluntarily rest in his crate when it’s open and his human is nearby, but being crated while left alone is stressful for him. He would do best in a home that understands this and is willing to help him gradually build confidence with alone time. With stability, routine, and love, Rudy truly shines. When he first arrived, he was painfully thin, with every rib and his hip bones showing. He also had some food aggression, but who could blame him after all he'd been through? Thankfully, with regular meals and love, he now understands he’ll never go hungry again. He’s no longer protective of his food and hasn’t shown any signs of food aggression since. Who doesn’t love a dignified Boxer lady? We sure can’t get enough of Eclair! This sweet, sweet 5 year old, 55 pound pup came to TNT as a breeder release. Everything is new to her so we are taking it slow and letting her decompress. She has shown us so far that she is great with other dogs, and she has no interest in squirrels or bunnies, so she’d probably be fine with cats, too! She’s still unsure about new people, but she will approach anyone for pets if they’re willing :) Eclair likes to be near her people on walks. She goes in her crate by herself, just takes a bit of time to relax. Potty training is a work in progress! She has even started playing with toys, so we think she would enjoy an active household once she settles in. Since she really loves the other dog in her foster home, we would love to see Eclair join a home with another dog who can continue to show her the ropes. She has figured out how to hop on the couch for scratches so if you bring her home, be prepared to dole them out! Eclair's adoption fee is $500

Pheobe, Pheebs, Pheebs Ma Dweebs. The elf eared, white pawed pretty pittie who has my whole heart. I got Pheobe in 2022, at Chicago Care and Animal Control when she was about a year, which means she’s around 5 years old. She is sweet, a kiss monster, and loves people. She is, in true pittie fashion, a total couch potato. She knows basic commands and is housebroken. I am making the heartbreaking decision to rehome her because I have young children, and she is leash aggressive towards other dogs (off leash, she is a lover and likes other dogs.) As much as I am an advocate for the breed, I also recognize that I don’t have the time or skills to work with her on her reactivity. She will stay home with us until she is safely placed in a home that will love and care for her. The ideal home will be with older children or no children (only because of her size and strength) and with no other dogs or with submissive dogs. Experienced adopters are a must.
