Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. The first thing about Muffin that makes you fall for her is the way she looks at you and the color of her eyes. Muffin would be a great addition to any family that has someone that can be home with her most of the day or works from home. She can get anxious when not by her humans, but Starfish is committed to helping her new family with training support so that Muffin knows she is always safe. She is a wonderful dog. She has never had any accidents in the house. She is great on walks. She listens and learned how to sit almost immediately. She is very playful and aims to please. Muffin learned to play fetch and loves it. She enjoys activity, but will also lay with you and relax. This sweet girl deserves the best - please complete the application to meet her. Mikey formerly Mike Tyson is one of 4 boxer lab mixes that arrived here years ago as puppies. They all had human boxer names. He was adopted 3 years ago and when his family’s circumstances changed, rather than contact the rescue for assistance in rehoming him, his family gave him away to a coworker about 1 1/2 ago. Rover Rescue only learned of this because he was found by animal control and we were notified. He is skin and bones and has hair loss due to fleas and possibly mange. Animal Control was going to put him down because he was so scared and growling. I am so thankful that we were called!! Mikey is now back in foster care and doing great. He is being treated for his skin rash and he is loving all his furry friends. He is very sweet and was only growling because he was so terrified. It would’ve been a tragedy to lose him. This is the second time this poor fella found himself needing his life to be saved. He is looking for a FOREVER home. One where he can live the good life and not a hint of worry about where his next meal is coming from or if he has a tomorrow! It will take a little time for his coat to fill back in to the beautiful black and brindle boy that he was. He is house trained, crate trained, and sniffed the kitties at the vet without issue. He is also bilingual. He understands some English and Spanish commands. He is good with other dogs and people. He is altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Ivy is a spunky 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier, Siberian Husky, and Boxer mix (reported by Embark DNA). We love her to death but unfortunately, work has her person relocating to another state and traveling for work more than is fair to her. We would love for her to find happiness in her new forever home. She is loves to run and has an impressive vertical jump, so a yard with a tall fence is a must! Her manners need some work, but she knows "sit," "lay down," and "go to bed (crate)." Patience is not one of her virtues. She meets every new person and situation with enthusiasm, so smaller children may end up getting knocked down in her excitement. She loves to play fetch and tug of war (you will tire long before she does). Plush puzzle toys she can stick her snoot in are some of her favorites. She loves to cuddle and develops great concern when you are under the weather or sad, so be prepared for the healing power of love.
