I rescued Frankie almost two years ago. He is very loving and caring. He has quite the personality and is very caring. He can be quite the character as well. Unfortunately I have to re home him due to him not getting along with the other dogs in my house. He is fine as the only dog as he wants all the attention to himself. Remy is a very lovable, playful, energetic happy girl. She's 3 yrs old, spayed, housebroken, very well crate trained but can be given free run of the house alone for long periods without damaging anything....also Remy knows basic commands such as sit , stay, wait, down, & gives paw. She is very well behaved on walks & car rides which she really enjoys!!! She is not cat friendly but I took her in 1 yr 5 mths ago to give her a good loving home & felt she'd fit in well with my two male dogs a 2 1/2 yr old American Staffordshire & my 9 yr old Boxer. She has recently been showing signs of being dominant with my 9 yr old Boxer therefore I have no choice but to rehome her. She would make a great companion for someone with no other pets. Please consider giving her a chance...she has such a sweet nature & playfulness I'm sure you will enjoy!!!

But if you are seeing this on adopt-a-pet, transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Out of state adopters are welcomed. Transport is available to your area in the NorthEast or Great Lakes area. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road (Rescue Riders Transport)! What we know about Gus: Dog Friendly Kid Friendly Has lived with kids and another dog previously Awesome temperament NO cats Calm, great on a leash About 2 years old Potty trained Crate trained Loves snuggles Gus came to us extremely underweight, nearly bald, with open wounds all over his body due to Demodex mange. He has since recovered fully and is ready to find his forever family! Gus was far too interested in the cats when we cat tested him as his herding instincts are present with these types of animals. However, he is great with other dogs and we use him to help introduce new dogs to the rescue. He also does fantastic with the 3 year old human on the rescue property! Gus has gone out on multiple Doggie Day Outs and did so well each time! He was his happiest self at the dog park with his rescue buddy (Folly) who has since been adopted. He likes to meet new people and go for car rides! We think he could be a heeler mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂 Note: Since Gus has a history of Demodex mange, this means he is genetically predisposed to this condition if he does not take flea/tick prevention regularly. He is currently on Simparica Trio and doing so well. Please let us know if you have any questions about this condition!

Transport may be available to your area in the northeast or Great Lakes areas. We use Rescue riders for our transport needs because they are amazing with our pups! Meet Thumper! This little guy is about 40 lbs of playful and fun energy. He’s sweet and good with people and other dogs. He’s about 2.5 years old and is a mixed breed but a really cool Mixed breed. I mean look at his cute ears. He’s adorable. He’s already crate trained and house trained. NO CATS. He is not fond of cats. Probably won’t do well with smaller rodent type animals either. He will scream SQUIRREL! And the rest is history. Haha. He would do well with children over the age of 10 because he’s very playful and may knock smaller children down during playtime. Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on.
