Betsy is a FUN dog who loves to be with other dogs, maternal and bouncy. She is not aggressive or bossy but does have a bark and her terrier DNA comes out when meeting new smaller dogs. She has spent most of her time with bigger dogs and enjoys being the 'shortie' of the playgroup. Betsy is not food motivated, nibbles through the day, but has managed to become a bit fluffy. 50 lb dog now, she loves car rides, water! and sunbathing. Betsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and very health - a bit fluffy as she has matured, now 4 years old. Her breed had been a guess until now! a donated DNA test revealed the classic Houston mutt mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Lab, Boxer, German Shepherd, Shar Pei, Chow Chow. She is a short dog with medium double coat and a sharp mind. We love Ivy! Ivy is such a charming and friendly dog who makes instant friends with anyone she meets (sometimes needs a minute or 2 with some dogs.) Ivy loves kiddie pools and will entertain herself with toys. Even after they're gutted, she enjoys flipping them around and catching them. If the shred lands in your lap, then you're in on the game too! Ivy's foster mom says: "Boxer mix Ivy is delightful, with excellent house manners, good with small kids, good on a leash. Great with other dogs after a proper introduction. Loves watersports: pools, hoses, and squirt guns. Sweet, friendly, and affectionate with excellent house manners." Ivy is crate trained and has excellent house manners. She is fine with small children. She walks well on a leash but can be strong. Ivy is about 2 yo and weighs about 55 lbs.
