We love Ivy! Ivy is such a charming and friendly dog who makes instant friends with anyone she meets (sometimes needs a minute or 2 with some dogs.) Ivy loves kiddie pools and will entertain herself with toys. Even after they're gutted, she enjoys flipping them around and catching them. If the shred lands in your lap, then you're in on the game too! Ivy's foster mom says: "Boxer mix Ivy is delightful, with excellent house manners, good with small kids, good on a leash. Great with other dogs after a proper introduction. Loves watersports: pools, hoses, and squirt guns. Sweet, friendly, and affectionate with excellent house manners." Ivy is crate trained and has excellent house manners. She is fine with small children. She walks well on a leash but can be strong. Ivy is about 2 yo and weighs about 55 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, screened for parasites, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $390 cash and she is available for foster-to-adopt within the Chicago area. Hi! My name is Fergie. I'm just a big ole love bug! Yup! That's me! I'm a 1-1/2 year-old, Boxer Bully mix with reddish color fur, a white splotch on my face and around my neck down my chest, four white paws, a paintbrush tail with a white tip, and a pink muzzle. Even though I'm around 50 pounds, I believe I am definitely a lapdog. I'm very sweet and gentle, and I just love people! I love running around the yard, playing with my canine siblings and human kiddos, and chewing bones. But....my favorite activity is cuddling with humans on the couch! Oh, and I love napping and treats too. I do well walking on a leash, am crate trained, and am housebroken. By the way, my foster Mom says I am also a good watch dog because I bark when there is someone or something outside. I sleep well at night with no accidents and go in my crate on command during the day while my foster mom's at work. I love sleeping on the bed curled up with my canine sisters and humans. So a really cool thing is that I am learning how to ring a bell to let my foster Mom know I need to go outside. I already know sit and I'm working on the command off. Off is a little hard for me, because I get so excited when I meet someone new, but I almost have it down. I'm pretty good at coming when I'm called too, but sometimes I get distracted. Would you like to share a forever home with lots of cuddles and sloppy dog kisses? Then, I'm your girl! I hope I get to meet you soon! Because Fergie-Faye does great with other dogs of many sizes, we are seeking an adopter with another playful dog in the home. People see my face and think I’m tough. And okay, sure. I do look like I could front a biker gang made entirely of puppies. But the truth? I’m basically a marshmallow with muscles. I’m Huckleberry. Three months old. Boxer-pittie mix. Tough-looking little sweetheart. I like to wrestle. I like to tumble around with the other puppies. I puff myself up like I’m very intimidating. Then five minutes later I’m melting into cuddles and looking at people with my soft baby eyes. My foster family says I’ve got this funny mix of “don’t mess with me” and “please hold me.” Pretty accurate honestly. My mom Maggie survived long enough for rescuers to find her before she had all nine of us puppies. Because of that, I got a chance at a real puppyhood. One with toys and couches and people who kiss my forehead instead of walking past me. I’m good with kids. Good with dogs. Strong little guy with a very sweet heart.
