A Mag Mutt volunteer found this handsome boy abandoned while on vacation in TN. He is estimated to be about 1.5-2 years old, weighs approximately 45lbs. He is good with other dogs - both big or small, loves to play with toys, and is extremely sweet. Leash training is in progress and will continue to be worked on in his foster home. Beau would love a fenced yard to play and zoom around in too! Like some Boxers, he gets excited, so any kids in the home should be old enough not to get bumped and fall down and understand he's just showing how happy he is! He is a cuddlebug and loving too! Sadly, he is a cat chaser - so, no cats in the home for him. We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest! Oaks is a young, sweet lady that is about 2 years old and weighs about 50-55 lbs. Oaks has a beautiful coat of soft, light brown fur that feels just like a mink coat which is perfect for snuggling on these cold nights! This affectionate girl loves being close to her people and will happily curl up next to you for some quality cuddle time! She has a playful side and enjoys tossing her toys in the air and chasing them around with boundless energy and joy! but.. her absolute favorite thing is rolling on her back for endless belly rubs and even gently uses her paw to reach out for more should you pause - it is the sweetest gesture! Oaks is good with other dogs, fully housetrained and well behaved. She has good house manners and can be trusted outside of a crate when you're away. Oaks is a 'low-maintenance' companion who loves to play, relax and shower you with attention. Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 4+ year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms.
