Hi! My name is Fergie. I'm just a big ole love bug! Yup! That's me! I'm a 1-1/2 year-old, Boxer Bully mix with reddish color fur, a white splotch on my face and around my neck down my chest, four white paws, a paintbrush tail with a white tip, and a pink muzzle. Even though I'm around 50 pounds, I believe I am definitely a lapdog. I'm very sweet and gentle, and I just love people! I love running around the yard, playing with my canine siblings and human kiddos, and chewing bones. But....my favorite activity is cuddling with humans on the couch! Oh, and I love napping and treats too. I do well walking on a leash, am crate trained, and am housebroken. By the way, my foster Mom says I am also a good watch dog because I bark when there is someone or something outside. I sleep well at night with no accidents and go in my crate on command during the day while my foster mom's at work. I love sleeping on the bed curled up with my canine sisters and humans. So a really cool thing is that I am learning how to ring a bell to let my foster Mom know I need to go outside. I already know sit and I'm working on the command off. Off is a little hard for me, because I get so excited when I meet someone new, but I almost have it down. I'm pretty good at coming when I'm called too, but sometimes I get distracted. She is loving, affectionate, and happy. You can genuinely feel her love and see it in her eyes! She bonds quickly with her people. After knowing you just a couple hours her tail wag for you turns into a whole-body wiggle. She has a knack for picking up on and matching people's vibe. So if someone is more low-key she will just chill out with you. If you want to play, she will play. If you pass by her and she sees you coming, her tail slaps the ground louder and faster the closer you get as she gets happy to have you near her. She’s a well-mannered companion with no nuisance barking, even when other dogs walk by, and she walks nicely on a leash. Haven shows some interest in “people food” but gives up easy when told no. She lets you know when she needs to go bathroom by going to the door. There have been zero bathroom accidents indoors.
