I’m approaching my first birthday, and I’m hoping to find a forever family who will help me continue becoming the best version of myself!If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that once you’ve earned my trust, you’ve got a friend for life! I’m an incredibly loyal boy who forms deep bonds with the people I love. I tend to choose one person as my favorite, and that person quickly becomes my whole world!I’m still working on understanding that other people can be just as safe and trustworthy. Sometimes I get nervous around unfamiliar people or when someone other than my favorite person tries to help me with things like putting on my harness or taking me outside. I’m looking for a family who will patiently work with me on building those relationships and help me learn that I can count on everyone in my home, not just one special person.When it comes to life around the house, I’m actually a pretty easy guy! I’m fully housetrained and crate trained, although I much prefer having a little more freedom. At my foster home, I spend the workday in a dog-proofed room with my foster siblings, and I do wonderfully! No accidents, no getting into trouble, just lots of relaxing and catching up on my beauty sleep!When I’m not snoozing, you’ll probably find me enjoying one of my favorite bones, chewing on something tasty, or playing with my toys. I’m a big fan of all three!Having another dog around is also incredibly important to me. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
