Story
I’ve had Milo since he was puppy. I would hope that he goes to a family with lots of energy and a big backyard for him. He’s super silly and loves attention. He does great with female dogs but I’m not so sure about other males. He’s a good guard dog with barking at strangers outside the house but once they come in he’s a cuddle bug.

Story
Meet Honey, a beautiful Boxer mix estimated to be 7 years old and weighing approximately 70 pounds. Honey is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who absolutely adores people and has been described as phenomenal with children of all ages, including young kids and infants. She is housebroken, crate trained, and well accustomed to living in a home environment where she can relax with her family and enjoy being part of daily life. Honey has a gentle and affectionate personality and would thrive in a home looking for a loyal companion to shower with love. She can be a little timid around other dogs and does tend to chase small animals, so a home that can help her feel comfortable and set her up for success would be ideal. Honey also has a curious nature and should be monitored while outdoors to ensure she stays safe and secure while exploring her surroundings. Honey is currently in foster care and requires an approved online adoption application prior to meeting her. Her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccine and basic boosters, and she is heartworm negative. If you are interested in giving Honey the loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application through https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. June 2, 2026, 8:14 pm

Story
We found Ralph abandoned on the side of the road in 2023 and took him in, and he’s been part of our family ever since. From the start, he got along well with our two dogs (aside from our small dachshund occasionally giving him a hard time!) and settled in quickly. Ralph is a very energetic, affectionate dog who loves to play, go on walks, and snuggle. He’s about 3 years and 9 months old, and we estimate his birthday to be around June 2022. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Ralph would do best in a home that can match his energy level and give him plenty of opportunities for exercise and play. Ideally, he would either be the only dog in the home or live with other large, active dogs who can keep up with him and help him burn off his energy. He can be reactive on walks—when he sees other dogs or people, he may bark and pull on the leash—so he would benefit from an experienced owner who is comfortable continuing his training and helping him feel more at ease.

Story
Gracie is a sweet 10-year-old mixed breed who is looking for a new forever home filled with love, patience, and comfort. She originally belonged to my husband, who passed away from lung cancer in December. Since then, I’ve done her best to care for her, but due to a recent move into a one-bedroom apartment and mobility issues with my knee, I’m no longer able to give Gracie the life she deserves.Gracie is a gentle, loyal companion who thrives in a calm environment. She would do especially well with someone who enjoys a slower pace of life—whether that’s relaxing at home, short walks, or just having a sweet dog by your side. She has years of love left to give and deserves a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.We are trying everything we can to avoid taking her to a shelter, as we want to make sure she finds a home where she’ll truly be cherished.PS, she loves loves loves belly scratches.

Story
Meet the gentle, loving Shelby. She is between 2-3 years old, weighing 64 lbs. boxer mix with a soft fawn coat. Shelby was rescued under a church along with her five babies. Shelby is very strong, friendly, and discerning. Shelby loves playing with other dogs, attending dog parks and loves walks, except when it's raining and thundering as she gets anxiety. She has not been around cats and currently resides with her three pups and a Lab. Shelby is a very bright dog! As much as she loves playtime with others, she loves relaxing, cuddling, kisses and belly rubs. She loves riding in the car and taking trips. An ideal home for Shelby would be one that is safe and comfortable where she will receive plenty of love, and affection. Shelby is crate trained with no issues sleeping in one. However, she does not potty inside, as she will bark to inform you when she needs to go. Shelby has received the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, One round of DHPP. She is microchipped and will be spayed 06/17/2025. Reason for rehoming: Shelby is currently under temporary care by her rescue family who are unable to keep her permanently. This devoting and caring dog is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you? Story
Meet Achilles, a strong and beautiful 4-year-old Dogo Argentino with a loyal heart and a playful spirit. Achilles thrives in a home filled with love, attention, and space to move freely. He enjoys long walks, outdoor time, and being part of the family—not just a pet in the background. We’re looking to rehome him with someone who understands large breeds, values companionship, and can give him the time, grooming, exercise, and care he deserves. Achilles would do best in a safe, active environment where he can run, play, and continue being the affectionate protector and companion he was born to be.

Story
We call this precious boy Scar because of the movie lion King and because his father is named simba. He also has the nickname because of his birthmark on him. He is 1 of 3 that i have available. Scar is going on 6 months and looking for a loving family to call home. he is one of the most active and funniest dogs we have. He knows how to use the puppy pads with only minor misses and he also know how to go outside. He is friendly with all animals including cats but needs an experience owner or very dominant owner in my opinion. He loves to play, eat, and most of the time you will catch him with a toy. Training wise he will do absolutely anything for a treat, we already have sit anf cage down packed.
