Story
Meet Aidano! Aidano is a gentle, sensitive boy who’s still adjusting to shelter life. The busy environment can be overwhelming for him, so he may seem shy at first, but don’t let that fool you. This sweet guy just needs a little time and patience to feel safe. Give Aidano a moment to get to know you, and once he decides you’re his person, he’s all in. He forms deep bonds and truly blossoms in a calm, loving home where he can relax and be himself. When he feels secure, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through. Aidano would love a feline companion in his forever home to help build his confidence. He would thrive with patient adopters who understand that the best relationships take a little time to build. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will reward your kindness with a lifetime of love, Aidano is the perfect boy for you. Story
Meet Pudding! This big guy was picked up as a stray back in 2019, not much is known about his life before that. He was adopted out all those years ago but has made his way back to us, his family loved him but unfortunately Pudding wasn`t too fond of his feline brother and had to come spend some time with us, that is until he found you! Pudding hasn`t spent too much time with us here, and it`s safe to say he isn`t a fan of all the crazy commotion that shelter life brings. Pudding would do best in a quiet home without any other pets. He’s considered special needs because he`s believed to have had a polyp in his ear at some point, which caused him to have a slight head tilt, he also is FIV positive. Interested in having this big guy in your home, please stop on by and see if you have a connection!Great news! We extended our New Year`s adoption special and waived the adoption fee for Pudding to help him find his forever home soon!Apply for Pudding today: capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Bella! This darling girl came to us all the way from Puerto Rico at about 8 months old and is more than ready to find her one true love - her new human! Bella was originally found living on the streets with a couple of her siblings, no mother in sight. A nice foster in Puerto Rico took them in and was able to adopt out her siblings and then.. Miss Bella was the only one left. After some time, she was able to make her way up to us and has been the sweetest girl ever since. While she’s a little nervous at first, after some hand sniffing and pets, she is an absolute love. She would probably do best in a home that is more on the quiet side due to all she’s been through but with some time and patience, she should be your new bestie in no time! In her previous foster, she did well with her feline friends as well, so if you have a kitty of your own already, Bella may be just what they need! Bella is special needs due to an Upper Respiratory Infection which has resolved, but has left some persistent clear discharge in her right eye. While this isn’t affecting her quality of life and may resolve, there is a chance she could have some damage to her tear duct and may need medical treatment later on. After all this precious lady has been through and how sweet she still is, there’s no doubt she will be the best furry friend any human could ask for. Do you have room in your heart and home for Bella?Bella has joined our extended stay program, meaning her fee has been reduced in hopes of finding her forever home!Fill out an application for her here! capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Biscuit- this cute gal did not have the best start to life. After being found in a carport during extremely cold weather, she was rescued and brought in for warmth and care. Biscuit has been slowly acclimating to the shelter environment but is still a bit shut down. She tends to eat overnight or while she’s alone so she is looking for a quiet, slow pace home with a family who understands she needs time to adjust. Once this little lady feels comfortable in her home, she is sure to come around and snuggle up on your bed or couch. If Biscuit sounds like the right cat for you, apply online today!
