Story
Meet Joela and Joclyn . Their Mama was an outdoor cat who had her kittens in a flower bed. The finder reached out to rescuers in North Carolina to see if they could keep her safe while she raised her kittens. Joela is on the more shyer side, but once you spend some time with her and she becomes comfortable, you`ll this duo is very playful and love attention. Playing with their toys, snuggling in the hammock, and enjoy feeding time. Take one of these sweet kittens home with you and you won`t be disappointed!Apply today at capeannanimalaid/catapp

Story
Meet Rasputin! This little ball of mush is ready to become a puddle on your floor. He certainly has his playful side, but this guy is pretty laid back in his own right. He rooms with his sister, so we think he wouldn`t mind a feline or feline-savvy dog as a sibling. A home on the softer, quieter side would also suit Rasputin best. Think this little guy could become the next member of your family? Send in an application, and we can set up a meeting! To send in an application for Rasputin, please visit capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Adam! Adam is a gentle, affectionate feline who absolutely lives for attention. He loves to be pet. Whether it’s a slow chin scratch, a long back stroke, or a cozy cuddle session, he leans in with a happy purr every time. Adam is part of a Bonded Pair with is pal, Ethan. They love each other so much that we think it`s best they go home together. With his warm personality and love for companionship, Adam brings comfort and harmony to every place he’s part of.Adam is considered special needs because he`s been diagnosed with his lower jaw being short (overbite) and missing his lower incisors. Due to the nature of the way he cat came to the shelter, we have no medical history for him, so it is not able to be determined if the canines were removed surgically or did not grow in. The short mandible and the normal appearance of the rest of the teeth indicate that this cat may have had previous dental surgery to remove the lower canines and resolve a malocclusion of the jaws. This condition does not create a negative impact on his quality of life at this time.It will be important to discuss this case with your regular veterinarian. He and his brother Ethan came down with Calicivirus AKA `Cat Flu`, they have been medically cleared by our vet team and deemed healthy. However there is a chance they could be carriers of the virus even after treatment, so we think it`s best they be the only two cats in the home.Want to meet with Adam? capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Oreo! This kind boy is a little on the shy side, but once he gets comfortable with you, he`s very sweet and affectionate! He found his way to us the last day of December, when his family were no longer able to keep him once they moved from New Jersey to MA. He used to live with other cats, he’s not known to be aggressive but he does take a moment to adjust to them and is more shy around them. This sweet boy is looking for someone to take a chance on him, while he`s not the most outgoing, he makes up for it with his adorable eyes and gentle personality!Apply for Oreo today at: capeannanimalaid.org/catapp
