Story
She came from a broken, abusive home where a child broke her tail. She arrived at my house as a baby, skittish and scared. Now she's almost 15 years old. She's not a lap cat, and she used to be aggressive, but then I got her fixed, and now she's a whole different cat. She's loving, but it takes her a while to warm up. She's not good with kids, and normally will run and hide if anyone new comes into the house. She is very loving and looks for attention when she gets to know you, which doesn't take very long. She has some sort of PTSD! Other than that, I wouldn't say it's a good idea to pick her up, but she looks for love and will come to get pets from you. She definitely favors women over men. I have two teenage boys, and she loves them, so maybe not all men. But if any man walks into my house, she'll run and hide and won't come near them for a while. She has hyperthyroidism and I can’t afford it anymore!

Story
Tina is originally from somewhere in Texas. I know that because the shelter I adopted Tina from, Northeast Animal Shelter, told me as such. She is now 2.5 years old and I need to say goodbye to her due to a big relocation coming up. She's a fine cat that is not easily disturbed and generally relaxed around people. She hasn't been around other cats or kids but I'm guessing she will be alright around them. She is however quite naughty and will always have unspent energy. I suppose that is to be expected from a cat that is still very young. I'm sure you will have a great time with her.

Story
I got Teca when she was nine weeks old from a friend whose cat had a litter. She was the last kitten to be adopted, and I took her in. She has always been very sweet, playful, and a little shy. She does not hiss or scratch, except for accidental scratches during play. Teca is a healthy two-year-old cat who is full of energy and loves attention and playtime. She was recently spayed and has had no health issues. Unfortunately, I am a busy college student working full time, and I am not able to give her the time and attention she deserves. I love her very much and want her to have a home where she can receive more interaction, play, and care.

Story
We adopted Nala when she was about a year old. She’s incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and loves attention. When we introduced her to our older cat (6 years old), they got along fairly well at first, though playtime could be a bit rough. Over time, however, Nala became less tolerant and more reactive toward our other cat. We’ve tried multiple reintroduction methods like separation, supervised feeding, and gradual visual contact, but haven’t seen lasting progress. Unfortunately, the tension between them has continued to grow, and we need to prioritize the well-being of both cats. Nala is wonderful with people: sweet, social, and very loving. From what we’ve learned, some cats experience personality changes around age two that affect how they interact with other cats, which seems to be the case here. We’re heartbroken to part with her, but we want her to have a happy, stress-free home. We’re also waiving any adoption fees to help her find the right fit.

Story
He is a 9 month old kitten I adopted from the shelter a couple months ago. Due to my current work and living situation, I'm unable to give him the time, care, and enrichment he truly deserves. Making the decision to rehome him has been extremely difficult, but I believe it's the best choice for both of us before we get more attached. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would do well in any home. While he hasn't lived with dogs or children before, I believe he would get along well given his social, playful personality. As expected for a kitten his age, he has lots of energy and absolutely loves playtime and interaction. My hope is to find a loving, committed home where he will be welcomed as a true member of the family. He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. There is a rehoming fee to help cover the cost of his supplies (cat tower, automatic feeder, water fountain, pet cam etc.), though I am happy to waive if you don't need them
