Story
Meet Butterscotch Pie💛a perfectly squatty, slightly chunky little potato with the most incredible wrinkles you’ve ever seen. Seriously… forehead wrinkles, body wrinkles, all-the-time wrinkles. Add in her beautiful green eyes, adorable little white socks, and her golden glow, and you’ve got a total heart-stealer. She’s about 3 years old, and our best guess is a beagle/lab mix, but what we know for sure is that she’s 100% perfect. Butterscotch is a people girl through and through. She opens up quickly with new friends and is overflowing with affection. She loves being right next to her humans and is a bit of a Velcro dog, following you around, settling close by, and soaking up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite activity (she will dramatically plop right over for them), and booty scratches are a close second! She arches her back and leans into them like a pro. She’s also happy to jump up for affection and will gladly tolerate being scooped up when needed. Watch Butterscotch Pie’s video here to see her belly and booty get all the scratches! https://youtu.be/NniJiyLua5E?si=47eE1EB3aa7_FlzA On leash, Butterscotch is a pretty easy walk. She’s responsive, checks in quickly, and doesn’t need much guidance, just gentle handling and calm movements, as she can flinch with sudden leash motions. She’s eager to please and enjoys going out with her people. With dogs, Butterscotch is currently more polite than playful. She can be a bit insecure at first, especially with higher-energy or pushy dogs, but she communicates clearly and appropriately when she needs space. She’s done best with calmer, respectful dogs and would be happiest with a low to medium-energy dog sibling who matches her vibe. With time and confidence, she may become more playful, but right now she prefers relaxed companionship and roaming together over roughhousing. Cats are a no for Butterscotch — they’re just a little too interesting for her. Butterscotch absolutely nailed her kid test! She was incredibly calm, gentle, and loving with the kiddos—showering them with sweet face kisses, happily sitting in their laps, and soaking up every bit of attention. Her favorite move? Flopping right over for belly rubs any chance she got and very politely demanding more the second you stopped. She was relaxed, affectionate, and completely comfortable, showing just how much she enjoys being around children. With her sweet nature and family-friendly heart, Butterscotch would make an amazing family dog who’s ready to love her people with her whole soul. Butterscotch would do well in either a house with a yard or an apartment. She may need a short adjustment period to fully settle in, but once she does, she blossoms into a loving, loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be near her people. If you’re looking for a wrinkly, cuddly, booty-scratch-loving best friend who will stick by your side and fill your days with sweetness, Butterscotch is ready to wiggle her way right into your heart! ❤️ Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
The personality. The face. The size. The EARS! Everything about Kaiser Cruz from head to toe, inside out, is literal perfection. Shepherd lovers better hurry up because he won't be available for long. He is snuggly, dog friendly, loves the outdoors, smart, and great with kids! The list can quite literally go on and on and on. Biggest flex this boy has are those amazing ears. Full of personality and full of cuteness. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet boy: https://youtu.be/ajZy2JOkRrw?si=SuyuCzdNV99fOIl2 Kaiser Cruz is believed to be a Shepherd mix approximately 8 years old and currently weighs 64 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Kaiser is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. He's not overly needy with his love nor does he ever over do it. If you're someone that works from home, he'll be a great work from home buddy because he's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things he shouldn't be (he has wonderful house manners I might add). He's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear/nose scratch almost as if he knew you needed a 5 min break from work. As for the rest of the time, he's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or he'll be playing with a toy. While Kaiser waits for his forever family, he is being spoiled by his foster family and they absolutely adore him and rave about him. He is currently fostered in a home with kids ages 4 and 8 years old, and Kaiser has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in his foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and he loves being a part of a family dynamic. Kaiser is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. He has no issues when the kids are playing with his toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Kaiser is definitely your guy. Not only is Kaiser great with kids, he is also very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to and is also fostered in a home with an 8 month old playful pittie mix. Kaiser has been around dogs all with different personalities and has done great with every single one. Kaiser is wonderful about meeting new dogs and will either play with them or will go off and do his own thing. That's what is so great about him, the way he is able to adapt to the dogs around him. He can run around, have a good time and he also just as happy going off and doing his own thing while the other dogs are being wild. Kaiser is more about exploring and doing his own thing rather than playing with other dogs. Though when Kaiser does play, he plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds or have ever owned one, then you know they love mouthy air play, will give nose boops where they see fit LOL, and use their paws like they are professional boxers at times all while keeping things lighthearted and fun. Shepherd play is definitely entertaining to say the least. Kaiser would love to have a dog sibling in the home, but if you don't have one, that's okay too. He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or to help him open up. Kaiser would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. He’ll enjoy going on neighborhood walks, mini adventures and then will happily lay next to you for cozy time. Kaiser is such a good boy, a 10/10! Now, he just needs a family to call his own. We are willing to test Kaiser Cruz with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Ever met a dog who’s basically a living, breathing burst of confetti with a barrel chest and a PhD in Zoomies? That’s UziBoo- big, playful, goofy, and genuinely sweet with his people- but he does call shotguy each and everytime a car-ride is order. Want to see him in action? Head to YouTube and watch a full view of UziBoo the Bounce House. https://youtu.be/0mc43Tgx5ng This boy is a rescue so we cannot guarantee age or breed but he is estimated to be just shy of 6 years old, weighs 63lbs and is likely a pittie/staffie mix. UziBoo is currently fostered with an older gentleman he adores and listens to beautifully. His foster will be the first to tell you that UziBoo is a good boy but appreciates structure and a no-nonsense approach. UziBoo has been around kiddos (even as young as 18 months) and does well, but because he’s built like a friendly tank with a love of sudden zoomie-launches, he’s best for a family where the tiniest humans are steady on their feet. On leash, he’s got the basics of leash walking down and responds to guidance, he just needs a little reminder to keep things loose and polite when the happy-hit. Inside he is an affectionate boy and eager to engage. Although he doesn’t live with another dog in his home he is a regular at doggie daycare and is playgroup and boarding approved. He is dog- social and has done well meeting dogs on leash but he could absolutely thrive as a solo dog. If you want a canine roommate for him, we’d most love to see him with a medium-energy female who enjoys some play but also appreciates breaks. UziBoo currently lives in a townhome, so apartment life could work too, as long as his brain and body get daily exercise. One important detail for UziBoo’s ideal home, he will need a cat-free home. When he met our house cat he was all barrel and no pause which we cannot see being a good fit for a feline friendship. If you’re looking for a goofy barrel of fun and an awesome, happy-go-lucky bestie- UziBoo is ready! Story
If sweetness had a face, it might look a lot like Sugar. With her soft blonde fur, a perfectly boopable black nose, and the kind of soulful eyes that seem to understand everything you’re saying, this little girl has already mastered the art of melting hearts. Sugar is about 3 months old and is believed to be an American Bully/Lab mix—though with rescue it’s always a bit of a guess. What we do know is that she’s likely to grow into a medium-sized pup and bring a whole lot of personality with her. Watch Sugar’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/XxubjTTD0us?si=vQVjPl7njpQbYaa8 And personality she has! Sugar is a talker who loves to be part of the conversation. She’ll happily “chat” with you about your day, what’s happening around the house, or why dinner might be a few minutes late. Add in her signature wiggly little body, and you’ve got a certified wiggle queen who spreads joy wherever she goes. Playtime is high on Sugar’s priority list—especially when it involves her brother Oyster, who happens to be her favorite playmate. She would absolutely love a home with kids and/or a playful doggy sibling who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. Sugar is also a world-class kisser and enjoys being held… but only when she decides it’s officially snuggle time. She’s an independent little lady like that. Like all young puppies, Sugar is currently learning the ropes of potty training and crate training, and she’ll need an adopter who is committed to continuing her training and socialization so she can grow into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a pup who is equal parts sweet, silly, affectionate, and full of life, Sugar might just be the perfect addition to your family. After all, life is a little better with a little Sugar in it. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6965a99c8bcc4a6a9b047565 Questions? Story
Oyster is the kind of dog that makes you slow down, smile a little more, and appreciate the quiet, sweet moments in life. From the second you meet him, you’ll notice his gentle nature and those soft, loving eyes that seem to say, “I’m already yours.” He is incredibly sweet, endlessly affectionate, and truly just wants to be close to his people (and his dog friends too!). This handsome boy has the most perfect, easygoing temperament. He enjoys playtime with other pups, but he’s not over-the-top or chaotic — Oyster is much more of a “let’s play a little and then relax together” kind of guy. He gets along beautifully with every dog he meets and has such a respectful, kind way about him that other dogs seem to instantly trust him. He’s the type who makes fast friends and then happily curls up beside them for a nap. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/XZ1efVfqu7c?si=M-yYZj0lgrIJgov7 Speaking of naps… Oyster is a professional cuddler. He absolutely lives for snuggling, gentle pets, and cozy time on the couch. If you work from home or just love having a calm, loving companion by your side, Oyster is your dream match. He’s perfectly content to lounge рядом with you, soaking up attention and quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Every now and then, his goofy side will peek out and make you laugh — he has the cutest little personality that keeps things fun without ever being overwhelming. One of Oyster’s most heart-melting qualities is how gentle he is. Whether he’s taking treats (so softly and politely!) or interacting with people and other dogs, he handles everything with care. He’s thoughtful, kind, and just an all-around “good boy” in every sense of the word. Oyster also gets along well with cats and could definitely live in a home with a feline friend. He has a respectful, easygoing nature that allows him to adjust nicely in multi-pet homes. Oyster does have a tender, loving heart, and because of that, he feels happiest when he has companionship. He really thrives with another dog in the home — he loves having a buddy to snuggle with and finds so much comfort in not being alone. In his foster home, he formed a sweet bond with his foster brother and loved curling up together to sleep. Having a canine companion helps him feel safe, relaxed, and completely at ease. He’s not asking for much — just a home where he can share his love and be near those he cares about. If you’re looking for a dog who is gentle, affectionate, mellow, and wonderfully easy to love, Oyster might just be your perfect match. Story
Velvet tuxedo coat, lightning-fast tail wags, and a gentlemanly sit-and-shake combo that is hard not to feel is especially for you… this is Bond! Confident, cheerful, and ready to charm every room he walks into, Bond has that easygoing charisma that makes people smile the moment they meet him. Want to see this handsome boy in action? Head over to YouTube and then come right back to read more about the boy who believes good manners and happy tail wags are the ultimate undercover tools. Bond is estimated to be about 2 years old and appears to be a pittie-type mix with a sharp black-and-white “tuxedo” look that really does give him leading-man energy. As always with rescue, breed and birthday are our best guess. From the moment we met Bond, his personality and happy energy made an impression. His tail was wagging so fast it was practically a blur and his little feet were tapping with excitement to say hello. He’s a people-oriented guy who clearly enjoys connection, and he settles into any space with friendly curiosity and a warm, welcoming presence. Bond already comes with a couple of charming built-in tricks too. Ask for a sit and he’ll happily offer it. Ask for a shake and he’ll deliver that polite paw like a true gentleman. It’s a simple little combo, but it melts hearts every time. On leash, Bond has the basics down but is still polishing it up and he will naturally benefit from continued practice and guidance. He checks in with his person often and he responds nicely to correction and direction which shows that he’s a smart boy who wants to work with his person. With dogs Bond is friendly and curious meeting new dogs both on and off leash. He’s still figuring out the language of play and when the other dogs started romping around he is happy to just tag along.. At times he will bounce nearby or run alongside like he wanted to join the fun but wasn’t quite sure how yet. With a calm, easygoing dog companion, especially a medium or lower-energy female, we know his social and playful side will shine. Bond showed us all a sweet, affectionate side that really looks best on a cozy couch. Once invited onto the couch he turns into a puddle of love. He leans into attention and enjoys spending time close by his people. That gentle, people-loving nature makes it easy to picture him settling happily into family life. Bond could do well in a house with a yard or a quieter apartment setting where he can relax and settle in comfortably. Most of all, he’s looking for people who will appreciate his sweet nature, his cheerful spirit, and of course… that very impressive sit-and-shake. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate dog with a little bit of charm, a little bit of goofiness, and a whole lot of heart, Bond is your guy!
