Meet Mr. Bean – Your Loyal, Fuzzy Best Friend!
Mr. Bean is a charming Chihuahua mix with a soft, fuzzy undercoat and a shy but sweet personality. He is just shy of under 20 pounds, tiny but mighty and ready for love!! We suspect Mr. Bean to be around 9 years old, but you’d never know. He is really hoping to make up for lost time with his new family. He loves to take things slow, but once he bonds with his person, he’s a happy, devoted companion. He’ll greet you at the door with a wagging tail and stick by your side, always ready to brighten your day. Who wouldn’t want that?!
Mr. Bean is a cuddler - especially at night under the covers. He loves going for walks and playing with his friends. This little Mama’s boy is super easy, friendly with other people and pets, takes his independent time, and loves being with his person. This funny little man enjoys laying on the patio in the sun in 90• weather. He even uses the doggy door, so bean goes outside with the pack to play while his foster mom is at work. They are always down to play a good game of chase with him. You have to know— His favorite toys are his little stuffies! He is sure not to destroy them and he is very polite in the house! He loves to play tug-of-war, but he always knows when to let go so he keeps his toys in tact.
This little guy is the perfect couch companion, happy to lounge with you and keep you company. At night, he loves curling up beside you, and in the morning, he starts the day with his signature stretches. Mr. Bean is the best co pilot and shot gun rider, he loves the car! Well, he is so tiny, he basically gets his own room in the back seat with his foster siblings. They each have their own beds, fully ready for their road trip! He goes to the beach with his foster family, and he absolutely loves it. From sitting in the front seat of the golf cart, to his paws hitting that warm Texas sand. Mr. Bean is living his best life while he waits for his forever family to find him. Maybe you will take him on your family vacation too? He promises he will be a good boy!

Mr. Bean would do well in a calm home, either as your one and only or alongside other friendly dogs. He is currently fostered with a few other small dogs, and he does extremely well sharing affection, treats, and the attention. He’d be a great match for an adult or singleton looking for a loyal, affectionate friend. Mr. Bean is an expert at morning stretches and the biggest hugs he can give with his tiny body! He will always accompany you to the local coffee shop for a pup cup if you’re up for it! If you’re ready for a dog who will always be by your side, Mr. Bean is ready to meet you!

We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!
You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!
The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
