Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Little Miss Winnie came in as a stray, so we do not know her history, but while she has been as the shelter she has been a good girl. She is shy at first but warms up to new people. She seems to be dog selective. It appears she would be great at being the only dog or need slow introductions to other dogs. She has responded better with male dogs. Though she may be older she still loves her toys If you would like to meet Winnie and see if she would be a fit for your family, contact Oak Grove Animal Control and Shelter at 816-690-3773 ext, 1006

Story
I got Anubis as a puppy from a pet store. He's 9 years old now. He's a great friend and super lovey! And always wanting attention. He's fun and energetic. Super excited to be around people especially kids. All in all just a good boy who needs a loving family to spend the rest of his years with. I would love it if I could continue to receive updates on him after his rehoming just to know hes doing good. Or maybe even see him still on occassion if that would be okay with his new family. But all in all just want to be sure he's being taken good care of and with people who will love him.

Story
Hi, I'm Bella. I am a three year old American Pitbull Terrier (possibly mixed). I am a very hesitant, cautious, fearful dog. I don't like strangers and try to avoid them. I can be a flight risk when I'm trying to get away from a stressful situation. I am neutral to dogs, but it takes me a while to warm up to people and show my true personality. I would thrive best in a home that will allow me to get used to my environment slowly and not force unnecessary interactions. I enjoy frozen Kong treats and am decent on a leash. Once you take the time to let me get used to you , I am the sweetest girl who loves belly rubs and cuddles.

Story
Hi, I'm Harlem! I am an adolescent bully type terrier mix, but I am on the shorter side. I am a quirky guy and I'm looking for a dorky best friend to go on adventures with. Wanna nap on the couch? I'm there. Wanna hit the local parks? Let's go. I love participating in the staff dog training class. I give my handler my full attention and try hard to learn new skills, especially when treats are involved! If you're looking for a compact muscle buddy to exercise and hang out with, I'm your guy!

Story
Hi, I am Damsel! I am an adult Great Pyrenees Labrador Retriever mix. When I first came to ODAS, I struggled a lot with anxiety and being overstimulated, but with the help of staff, fosters, and visitors I have really come out of my shell! Tug toys are my favorite thing and I love to romp around when I get the zoomies! Treats, pets, and praise are also great ways to befriend me. I have big feelings about trucks, but I'm working on it with some help from a dedicated staff member.
