Story
Pet Location: Trinity is currently living in a foster home. If you’d like to schedule a time to meet her, please contact Wayside Adoptions at (816) 986-4426.My friends at Wayside say:- I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - My foster family said that I am crate-trained and mostly house-broken.- I have experience living successfully around cats in my foster home. - I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are:- I need a home with kids 10 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - I must go to a home with another confident dog to help build my confidence.- I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside requires you to bring your dog with you when you come to meet me. - A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.- For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. You can purchase one at our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi there, I’m Trinity! I’m energetic, playful, super sweet, and so much fun. I’m shy and timid, too, until I get to know you, and it takes me extra time to grow comfortable and to learn to trust. Once we bond, I’ll be able to relax and live the life that was always meant for me. I’ve just had a lot of change and instability in my short life, that’s all, so these things take time. Still, if you’ll stay patient with me and simply give me a chance to shine, I’m the sort of dog who will quietly work my way right into your heart and never leave. I hope you find out that you need me in your life just as much as I need you.I’m an adorable, 1 1/2-year-old, 56-pound Rottweiler mix, with the cutest, expressive face and ears, soft fur, and an unassuming, mostly chill except when I’m playing, delightful personality. I’m equally happy to lounge on the couch or to quietly watch out the window as the world goes by or to joyfully run at full speed with other dogs. I’m even already crate trained and mostly housebroken, too, although please stay patient with me when I have acc

My home needs are: - If you have kids in the home 9 years old and younger, I will need to meet them since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises. - New people and things make me a little nervous. Wayside recommends that I have a low traffic home. Special Request from Everly: For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi, I’m Everly! I’m a shy and gentle girl who’s had a rough start. I come from a hoarding situation, so I’ll need extra time to adjust to home life. I’ve lived with other dogs and really enjoy their company, but I haven’t had much experience with people yet. Things like walking on a leash or going through doorways can be tricky for me at first, so I need someone patient who’s willing to help me learn and grow at my own pace. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding for the right person who understands I need time and gentle guidance.I can be nervous around new people, new places, and loud noises, so I’d do best in a low-traffic home where I can feel safe and comfortable. If you have kids 9 and younger, I’ll need to meet them first so we can get to know each other in a calm way. During my time at Wayside, I’ve loved hanging out with other dogs and finding comfort in their presence. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet, and loyal companion who just needs a little patience and love, I could be the perfect match for you!Love, Everly

I’ve lived with other dogs and really enjoy their company, but I haven’t had much experience with people yet. Things like walking on a leash or going through doorways can be tricky at first, but I’m smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, so with patience and treats, I know I can thrive. Adopting me will be incredibly rewarding for someone who’s willing to go slow and let me gain confidence at my own pace.I’m playful too! Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all and can spend hours having fun while learning new things. I do best with gentle guidance, patience, and lots of encouragement as I navigate new experiences and environments. For my forever home, I need to meet any other dogs in the household before adoption to make sure we get along. I’d do best with kids 10 and older and in a low-traffic home since new people and loud noises can make me nervous. Story
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!
