He is a very loyal dog and needs attention that I don’t have time to give. I got divorced last year and he has been through a lot of changes. We moved from being on land to living in town to having someone in the house all day long to me being gone over 12 hours a day. He just can’t handle it. I want him to be happy and well loved.

Story

Beppe is a loving 3-year-old Shih Tzu with a big personality who I originally acquired from a reputable breeder in 2023. He has a thick, healthy coat and brown eyes, and he is happiest when he’s with his owner, chewing on a Bully stick or at his Mimi’s house with other dogs. He does great with people he knows and has lived comfortably around both dogs and cats. He has a harder time with unfamiliar people, children, and animals and can be reactive or fearful in those situations. He has shown signs of aggression toward strangers and is currently taking Prozac to help with anxiety and reactivity. He also experiences separation anxiety. Because of his anxiety and reactivity, he would do best in a calm, patient home with low foot traffic & with someone who understands these behaviors that is willing to continue working with him. A home without young children may be the best fit, and slow introductions to new people and animals are important.

Meet Ace! Ace is a approximately 4 to 5 year old male lab mix. Ace is a pretty energetic dog that seems to be just past the puppy phase of life and is ready to learn anything you may throw at him along with tackle any adventure you guys may want to endeavor. Ace was found exploring our city in the cold alongside a peer We call Chase who will also be available for adoption as well. Ace does seem to do very well with Chase so we think he would be ok with other dogs as well.

Sirius is 4 years old. Got him through a AKC certified breeder. He is potty trained and kennel trained. He's a lover. He thinks he's a lapdog! He's very intelligent and can be trained with proper training! I have to get rid of him due to a child moving in with him who is highly allergic. Shots up to date. Neutered. Dog friendly. Cat friendly. Kid friendly (might jump on them with excitement).

Story

We adopted Ella at KC Pet Project in 2019. She is now 8 years old and is very playful. She was very skiddish when we first got her so she does not respond well to yelling or clapping out of frustration. I believe she needs to be in a single dog household. She is very cuddly and loves walks. She responds decent off leash and will come back if called. If professionally trained I’m sure she would be a great hiking/trail dog. We are so sad to have to get rid of her, but I think it would be best for her to be able to get the walks and love she deserves!
