Story
Hiro, is an 8 year old male australian shepherd. I rescued him 3 years ago in the mountains of Utah. Tracked down his owner and decided to keep him. He loves to play fetch non stop. He thinks he is a lap dog when being petted. He is good with kids. They like to carry the ball or toy around and have Hiro follow them. We are only rehoming him because he has become to dominate over our Black Lab. He will make a good one dog family or if you able to train him with other dogs.

Story
Jaz adores his humans! He's a Pointer-Pit-Lab mix of freckles and cow spots and is about 2.5 years old and 55 lbs. His entire body wiggles when he's happy, and he is *always* such a happy guy. Who couldn't use some of that in their life? Jaz is so polite that he automatically sits when meeting people. He loves to be your buddy as you work around the house, cuddle with you, and sleep with you if you'll allow it. He loves kids but is enthusiastic right now when playing, so might be better with older, or just sturdier, kids. Jaz deserves all of your attention, so we're looking for a home where he can be your only pet. Once you meet him, you'll know he's all you'll ever need. Text or call The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info. Jaz is in Beloit, KS, and transport is available if needed. 🐾🎷 #thepetconnection #HappyDog #DogLovers #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #DogAdoption #FrecklesAndCowSpots #JazAdoresHumans

Story
Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. To learn more about Willy please contact The Pet Connection by call or text- 913-671-PETS (7387).

Story
Dolce is a total doll and such a love bug. She's not even two years old, weighs about 40 pounds, and adores cuddling under blankets. She can't get enough of her orange ball, which she chews like gum. Tug of war is a whole lot of fun, too. And water? Oh, yes, please! Dolce looooves water. She might even be part duck! This girl has had a rough life and will need a patient human willing to give her some time and space to settle into her new home. Dolce would prefer a home without little kids because she thinks they are kind of scary. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in learning more about this lovely pup! Dolce is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She's eligible for a no- cost adoption with an encouraged donation to The Pet Connection. She's in the Kansas City metro, but we will transport her to the right home.

Story
This gorgeous girl is June Bug, our friend from The Rescue Project. She's a lab mix and about three years old. But more importantly, she's a happy girl is so much fun! June Bug isn't just pretty. She has the smarts, too! She's very willing to work for people she likes (and food, she's willing to work for food). June Bug particularly enjoys showing people that she knows shake with both paws, as she's perfected that skill, and knows she'll get ... food! She likes learning new things, so go ahead and teach her all the fun stuff to help keep her mind busy. June Bug can be cautious around new people and things, but give her a chance and show her you're one of the kind, good humans. She'll love you to the moon and back and show you her snuggly, goofy side. She is worth your time, we promise. June Bug is looking for an adult-only home with a fenced yard, as kids can be loud and scary and apartments aren't going to work for her. She needs to be the only pet in her new home. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information. June Bug is staying in the KC metro, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #JuneBug #LabMix #DogTraining #DogLovers #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #KCmetro #DogRescue

Story
Please share Tyler to help him find a home! Tyler, the super cute, adorable little schnauzer mix, is still looking for his home. This should surprise exactly none of us, given Tyler's attitude. It's not great, folks. He's kind of a pain in the behind, really, in that he's not likely to give you the time of day. Don't expect to be able to pet this guy. Oh no. You can feed him the best premium food, provide Perrier bottled water, give him a deluxe heated and cooled place to sleep, even an imported European treat or two. BUT DON'T YOU TRY TO PET TYLER. His months on the lam in Beloit, Kansas, made an impression on him: people are not to be trusted, and that includes you, whoever you are. On a positive note, because we are glass-half-full type of people, Tyler really, truly does like his dog friends, and most of them like him back. In fact, we insist that he has a dog friend in his new home. And we think he has the potential to maybe eventually like humans. He is making progress on leash, so there's that. If you're willing to completely ignore him long enough, possibly, there's a chance, you might be able to someday . . . touch Tyler? Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like to learn more about Tyler. He's in Beloit, Kansas, at The Sanctuary with The Pet Connection. But don't worry, transport is available to bring Tyler to his new home! #thepetconnection
