Story
Meet Obi – Energetic, Loyal, and Ready for the Right Home Obi came into my life a few months ago malnourished and clearly worn down, yet still full of heart and eager for kindness. He’s 3 years old, bright, curious, and happiest when active and engaged. Knows “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “kennel,” but can be strong-willed and thrives with an experienced owner who enjoys working with high-energy, independent-minded dogs. Best in a home without small kids until he learns more control. Gets along with some small dogs, unsure with cats, and loves to “herd” his people. Extremely food- and treat-motivated, adores rawhide-style chews, and will work for rewards. Sensitive to water—baths, rain, and sprays require patience and a gentle approach. A fenced yard where he can safely burn energy would be ideal. In the right home, Obi will give back every ounce of loyalty and energy you invest in him.

Story
Meet Polo, a loyal, goofy, people‑loving dog who deserves a home built for his energy and curiosity. Polo is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being near his people and keeping an eye on everything happening around him. He’s smart, alert, and has a big personality that makes him the “neighborhood security guard” in the funniest way. He bonds deeply with his family and thrives when he feels included and engaged. Why he needs a new home: Polo has a strong drive to explore, and despite training and supervision, he has figured out how to slip out when doors open. He needs a home with a fully secured yard, consistent routines, and someone who can give him the structure and environment he deserves. This is not about him being a “bad dog” , he’s simply too clever and too curious for a home where kids or busy routines make door control harder. What Polo loves: • Being outside and watching the world • Playing and being active • Getting attention and being part of the

Story
Please help us find the perfect home for Louie. He is a year-old dog who is fixed, listens attentively, and comes right back when called. He is very good with other dogs and kids. Unfortunately, his current home is too small and lacks a fenced yard for him. Louie is potty-trained and is a bit over 85 pounds, incredibly loving, gentle, loyal, and very playful. He is fully potty-trained and enjoys spending time with people, relaxing ant home with you and being outdoors. When he is outside, he is quite entertaining and doesn’t need constant companionship. He is also protective of his home and deeply devoted to his family. Honestly, he is a dream dog. We will be selective because Louie deserves a great home with wonderful people. If you or someone you know might be the right fit, please reach out

Story
Jaz adores his humans! He's a Pointer-Pit-Lab mix of freckles and cow spots and is about 2.5 years old and 55 lbs. His entire body wiggles when he's happy, and he is *always* such a happy guy. Who couldn't use some of that in their life? Jaz is so polite that he automatically sits when meeting people. He loves to be your buddy as you work around the house, cuddle with you, and sleep with you if you'll allow it. He loves kids but is enthusiastic right now when playing, so might be better with older, or just sturdier, kids. Jaz deserves all of your attention, so we're looking for a home where he can be your only pet. Once you meet him, you'll know he's all you'll ever need. Text or call The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info. Jaz is in Beloit, KS, and transport is available if needed. 🐾🎷 #thepetconnection #HappyDog #DogLovers #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #DogAdoption #FrecklesAndCowSpots #JazAdoresHumans

Story
Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. To learn more about Willy please contact The Pet Connection by call or text- 913-671-PETS (7387).

Story
Dolce is a total doll and such a love bug. She's not even two years old, weighs about 40 pounds, and adores cuddling under blankets. She can't get enough of her orange ball, which she chews like gum. Tug of war is a whole lot of fun, too. And water? Oh, yes, please! Dolce looooves water. She might even be part duck! This girl has had a rough life and will need a patient human willing to give her some time and space to settle into her new home. Dolce would prefer a home without little kids because she thinks they are kind of scary. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in learning more about this lovely pup! Dolce is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She's eligible for a no- cost adoption with an encouraged donation to The Pet Connection. She's in the Kansas City metro, but we will transport her to the right home.
