Story
I am in desperate need of finding (10) almost 4 month old schnauzer/lab mixed pups homes. I have tried for 2 months to post on various websites and my post are being taken down… If you or someone you may know that I can hand off these sweet pups to it would be so appreciated. We can’t afford to keep them. Thanks in advance for your help! Bettina Welch Conover, NC

Story
Mufasa came to the rescue from a county animal control agency as a stray. He was rescue only due to being heartworm positive. We are having him treated for heart worms, and neutered. Mufasa is amazingly cuggly, snuggly, loves affection, and attention. He is housetrained, and sleeps quietly all night. He loves to lay around in the house, and he is very quiet indoors. He would make a great family pet or a companion dog, we also believe he would make a great trained therapy dog.

Story
UPDATE: MUST BE REHOMED BY THE 25th! Archie is a senior German Shepherd mix that was near death and rescued from a neglectful owner. He was severely malnourished and dehydrated to the point of being unable to stand or function on his own. After he started to recover he was placed for adoption at the Catawba Animal Shelter. We adopted Archie after 2 visits including a meet and greet with our other dog hoping to be his forever home, however we learned that a safe home for Archie means being the only pet, or at least the smallest one. He is a perfect buddy for someone who would like some quiet company, a walking or shop buddy and he loves car rides. He sleeps in a crate at night. He will come with all of his supplies.

Story
This is Teddy. He was seen dumped on the side of the road in the beginning of November. He has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped to help find him a good home. He has tested negative for heart worms and has taken TriHeart, as well as Advantix monthly prevention. He would be best in a home WITHOUT kids or other pets - unless properly trained otherwise. He loves to cuddle, go on hikes, play fetch with his ball and roll in the grass. Teddy’s favorite treats are anything meaty or peanut butter flavored. He knows commands like “sit”, “stay”, “leave it”, “down”, and “place”. He has so much love to give and is such a good boy! Please help me find this sweet baby a home! If I cannot find a home soon, I will be forced to take him to the pound. Please help me prevent this & give this sweet baby a loving home🤍

Story
PB for Pretty Boy. He was a stray. He was found to be shot with a BB gun, abused and scared of sharp noises and quick movements. He is extremely skittish and will run when frightened. He will need a secure fenced yard! As being retired we have gotten to know him well. He is house broken. He is not a barker. He won't bark outside even when he hears other dogs. We had him nurtured so it wouldn't be a stressful with going to a new home. He would do best in a calm home. He has no training for commands nor vocabulary He has never shown any aggression. I can put my hand in his food bowl. He would do well in a calm home. A military veteran could take advantage of free obedience training. He gets along with dogs, cats and people if they behave. He has never growled or shown his teeth. He is looking for love, trust and a fun environment. His potty breaks are approximately 12 hours apart. He is satisfied during the day inside with a bone to keep him amused. No regrets with this sweet dog!

Story
Luna is a black and white mixed breed dog. She was abandoned on a friends property. We took her until we could find her a home and were unable to find her a home. We got her shots for her and in the meantime attempted training her to blend with our family the best that we can. I just had a brand new baby this year. And she has shown aggressive behaviors towards my youngest son. She does not do well with other dogs either. We have cats and she attacks them as well. We don’t want to put her down and no one has been available to take her in. We’ve even tried humane societies and they’ve been all full. We’ve been having to keep her confined in a separate space in our home away from our children and we have to rehome her soon or we will have to take her to animal control as this arrangement is no longer feasible.she is great one on one with adults. She has anxiety issues and is very high needs.please let me know if she would be a nice fit for you.
