Story
We adopted from someone who had another dog that was younger and had irritated him. He has done well with another of our family member's dog, which visits occasionally and other dogs at hisc apt. complex. We have developed allergies and find he needs more space to be outside as healers need activity and possible companionship with another less aggressive playmate than previous owner had. He is very sweet, well-trained, smart and very docile without any bad habit. Have vet records and many care items to transfer with him.

Story
Milo is a beautiful, loving dog. he will be 2 years in July. I had gotten him last year from someone that was rehoming because they had found him as puppy but couldnt keep him. He is house trained and is VERY smart. He does have attachment anxiety though. Previous owner did not do much training and I have been trying to work with him but it has gotten to be too difficult with my schedule. He requires a lot of exercise and needs to be in a home with a big yard to run around. I do not have that sadly. He is a hunting dog so ideally he would do better with someone that is outside ALOT and does things along that nature. He is not a pet that belongs in a small apt of in the city. He loves to run around and sniff things. He is a huge cuddler and does great with kids and other dogs. My biggest issue right now is the training, he really needs someone VERY experiences with his breed/ dogs. Crate trained as well. This hurts my heart but right now I cannot give him what he needs.

Story
At ~2.5 years old, Peaches has spent the majority of her life in foster care. She joined our rescue in the summer of 2021 and has been overlooked time and time again, and we just don't understand why! She is smart, loyal, sweet, snuggly and SO much fun! Peachy girl ADORES humans, big and small. She is crate trained, house trained and still has enough puppy energy to keep you entertained. She needs a home without other pets, but enjoys outings, hiking, swimming etc. She's also perfectly content with staying at home to lounge in the sun or snuggle on the couch and she was PLENTY of love to go around. We know her perfect home is out there - is it with you? **Out of area adopters WILL be considered for Peaches!** •If you are interested in adopting, PLEASE REVIEW THE FAQs and submit an adoption application at the link below. •If a dog is listed, they are still available. •Potential adopters will not be considered without a completed application and direct emails will not be answered. https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/adoption/

Story
Big Mac is a simple-minded boy who's super easy to please. He will happily spend hours exploring in the yard and collecting sticks, occasionally checking in to get a belly rub and smother you with slobbery kisses. He has lots of love to give and there's no convincing him that 60lbs is too big to be a lap dog. Mac came to us from a rural shelter, rescued just hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized. His health and the scars on his body told a story of a dog who'd had a rough life, but his smile and enthusiasm said differently. He's never met a person he didn't love. Big Mac enjoys the company of other dogs, but he also appreciates his personal space. He would do well in a home with another dog who is respectful of his boundaries, but he'd probably prefer to be the center of attention. At roughly 7 years old, Mac doesn't have an abundance of energy, but he will convince you otherwise. He eagerly tags along for outings and adventures but be warned, he makes quite a spectacle of himself on hikes as he often stops to sprawl out and rest in the middle of the trail, refusing to carry on until he's good and ready. He also LOVES a car ride, and it doesn't matter if you're actually going anywhere. This happy, goofy boy deserves the world, and we know he will make someone VERY happy! •If you are interested in adopting, PLEASE REVIEW THE FAQs and submit an adoption application at the link below. •If a dog is listed, they are still available. •Potential adopters will not be considered without a completed application and direct emails will not be answered. https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/adoption/

Story
My mother bought Milo off of craigslist when he was 6 weeks old. I have been the main person taking care of him since then. He’s 5 years old and such a sweet boy! My mother never really connected with him and I am not home very often so he isn’t receiving all of the love and care he deserves. I recently moved and couldn't take him with me (apartment pet restrictions). I hate that I can’t give him the life he deserves but I know someone else can! Milo gets along great with other dogs, people, and kids. He’s never been around a cat so i’m not sure how he would do around one. Thanks for reading, reach out with any questions!

Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We acquired Major through a Clear-The-Shelter day at the Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement. He is an older dog, maybe 10 or 11 years old, who needs a one pet owner and lots of TLC. He has not been aggressive with our other other animals or our children, but growls at them if they get near his food. Our main concern is that he has anxiety issues. He damaged several of our walls during recent rain storms. He is on anxiety medication, and we try to help him through his anxiety issues, but it has become a challenge, especially when the weather is bad. He ate part of the sheetrock in two different rooms in our house. We've had him at the vet twice due to swallowing sheetrock and insulation. We need to rehome him because we cannot manage him effectively.
