Story
Hiro is a senior gentlemen at 10-11 years old, who is looking for a new soft spot to land after his former family had children and he was not getting the attention he deserves. His former owner is experiencing complications and cannot care for the young children in the home and Hiro. They feel he is not safe around small children, and want to ensure Hiro is removed from an uncomfortable situation before anything happens to anyone. He loves other dogs of all sizes, and would love a buddy or maybe two, but could definitely be happy to the the king of his castle. Hiro is crate trained, house broken, has some off leash training, does not require a yard, is very gentle taking treats, and loves people. He has a short, but thick double coat, that should be easy to maintain with regular brushing. He last saw the vet in April, and is UTD on his core vaccines. He is a really chill dude just looking for a cozy, quiet(ish) house to call his own. Feel free to contact for further information.

Story
Lucky was adopted from us in 2021 but sadly found his way back to the shelter after his owner passed away. He’s understandably confused, and we would love for him to spend as little time here as possible. We are still getting to know Lucky, and he is still getting to know us. He gets excited when he sees us, sometimes jumping up and rubbing against our leg, but other times he is grumpy and confused, as if he isn't quite sure why he is around us all of the time. He definitely needs more time to decompress and adjust to life without his family. Hopefully his second chance at happiness is out there. So far, Lucky has been very well-behaved and easy-going. Around five years old and 65 lbs, Lucky is neutered and house-trained. He previously lived with an older female dog he adored, so he may be dog-friendly as well. Come meet this sweet boy and give him a soft place to land.

Story
Daisy was found at a sawmill, pregnant. She was picked up by a shelter and then taken in by a rescue. After she had her puppies, she was adopted by her current family. They tried for a year but were not able to get her to accept their teen son as part of the family. She loves her people but prefers only animal siblings. She has been around cats with great success. Her first foster had dogs and they said she was fine with them however, she hasn't been around other dogs for a year. She is very sweet and loving. Enjoys walks and napping on the couch with her people. She seems to feel most comfortable with women but will warm up to men. She would do best with a family that doesn't entertain a lot.

Story
Need more joy in your life? This little guy will bring you lots of joy, since he is full of love and affection. He had a rough start in life so he can be a little shy at first, but he loves people, including kids, and other dogs (but not aggressive ones). He's almost 3 years old and is a mixed terrier breed, weighing around 33 pounds. He loves to play with you, other friendly dogs and his toys, and he loves walks. He's very clever and has had some professional training, where we learned he is very food-motivated! He was adopted last year, but his owner learned of a new pet allergy after his adoption, so after a lot of denial, tears and battling with the allergies, the conclusion was that he needs a new loving and safe home. An ideal environment for him would be a home with a fenced yard so he could do zooms and play with another dog or his human(s). He almost never barks, except when playing, when he can get very excited. However, he also knows when to be calm and quiet.

Story
Busch is our one and a half year old German lab mix. He is neutered and has all up to date medications and no health concerns. Shortly after we adopted Busch, we found out that we were expecting our first baby. We knew this would pose a challenge for us and for Busch, but were committed to doing everything we could. Recently we have had less time to ensure that Busch is getting enough attention/exercise. We understand that a dog of his breed needs extensive physical activity and have come to the realization that we may not be able to provide that on a consistent basis. Busch is a high energy dog and he is much better behaved when he's had an outlet for that energy. We were able to provide this for him in the past, but recently the demand has been too much for us and we understand that this is not an ideal scenario for Busch. It is with great sadness and regret that we have put Busch in this situation and are now seeking a loving family that can provide him with the care he deserves.
