Story
This story is a sad one, This is Chester who is bonded with his brother Shorty. They lost there mom who suddenly passed away from a stroke. In a matter of a week, she was gone. She loved her pups, and she had 5 little guys. These two are a bonded pair. Chester and Shorty. They are Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix. Chester looks like the Chihuahua in the face and Shorty looks like the Jack Russell. They are very good mannered. They do like to run if given a chance probably Jack Russell in them. They are housebroken. They never really spent much time in a crate. There Human mom didn't like it They slept in bed with her. They have been around cats as well. They would do good with a fenced in yard. They are being vetted as well as they will need neutered. The daughter is not able to keep them all as there are 3 other ones who are older plus cats. She can only keep so many. These two pups are lost if the other one is not around them. They must go together. Bark Animal rescue is helping to get these two to safety and to a new furever home so they can not worry anymore. Adoption app and fee for the boys. Contact BARK ANIMAL RESCUE in Greenville, Ohio if interested or for more information.
We'll also keep you updated on Shorty's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Hi i My Name is D-O-G pronounced like an I is on the end. DOG came into rescue when he was rescued from a homeless person who was living in a car with no heat. This poor little guy was in a very small carrier and very thin Ribs showing haunches showing. Was so Hungry when arriving at his temporary home. He smelled so very bad as well. So, he got a nice meal of some good Premium Puppy food and a nice place warm to sleep and lay his head. The next day he got a bath and a couple days later he got vetted. He weighs 11 pounds, and his ribs are covering up as well as his haunches. He has slowed down eating. As far as his housebreaking, he is pretty good. About 75-80 percent. He gets out after he eats when he gets up and before he goes to sleep. He does really well. He will go on a pee pad if needed. When he is in his kennel all night It is fairly large so half of it has pee pads and that is in case he needs to go in the middle of the night and keeps it easier to clean. He does really well with that too. He loves to be around other dogs and play. When a cat comes around, he wants to play with them. They not always take kindly to that. He likes to play with toys and retrieve them and bring them back. Loves attention He is such a sweet little guy, and he is looking for his fur ever home. He loves to be with you as well. He will be getting neutered on Friday the 28th as well as chipped. He is a Jack Russell Cross with Chihuahua as far as what the vet has said. His adoption would require an application as well as a fee of 200.00 Contact Bark Animal Rescue for an app or any further questions. As far as children I have not had him around any, He is a puppy and has very sharp puppy teeth so a small one would probably not be great. as he would probably be all over them if too small. Older kids would probably not be a problem.
