Story
When Knox arrived at the shelter, he was in rough shape—surrendered suffering from severe mange, covered in fleas & clearly neglected for far too long. But despite his discomfort and confusion, his gentle eyes & slow tail wags told us one thing: he hadn’t given up on people, even if they had given up on him. After weeks of care, medicated baths & more love than he probably ever knew before, Knox has made a full recovery & is ready for his next chapter—a forever home. Knox is about 3 years old & has the sweetest, most soulful personality. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs & would do great in a home with a canine buddy or two. He's calm, affectionate & loves to be near his humans—whether that means lounging on the couch or sleeping quietly in bed during movie night. He walks well on a leash, is learning basic commands & is eager to please. Knox isn’t just a survivor—he’s a shining example of the resilience & trust that this breed is world-renowed for. He is ready to be someone’s best friend. If you’re looking for a companion with a heart of gold & strength born from second chances, Knox is your perfect match.

Gretchen was found wandering the streets with her best friend by her side—two stray souls sticking together, searching for safety. Her striking red brindle coat with a white blaze down her face & her warm, affectionate personality won over the shelter staff immediately. Despite her uncertain start, she has proven herself to be gentle, loving & full of life. Estimated to be around 4 years old, she is a nice medium-sized dog with soft, intelligent eyes & a playful spirit. She’s forms bonds quickly & loves being close to her people. She’s also dog-friendly & would do well in a home with another pup—especially one who enjoys companionship as much as she does. She walks well on a leash, is picking up basic commands & has a calm, easygoing energy that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s exploring the yard or snuggling on the couch, she is happiest just being part of the pack. Now she is just looking for a forever home where she’ll be loved as much as she loves back. If you're ready for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Gretchen is your girl!

Story
When Elsa first arrived to her foster home from the shelter, she was terrified—curled up in the corner, unsure of what had just happened to her world. The sounds, the smells, the strangers—it was all too much for a sensitive soul like hers. But with time, patience & gentle care, she has slowly blossomed into the sweet, affectionate dog we knew she could be. She is a 3 year old miniature American Eskimo with a soft, snowy coat & the kind of expressive eyes that say everything she’s feeling. Once she trusts you, she’s incredibly loyal & loving—following you from room to room, nudging your hand for pets & soaking up every bit of attention with quiet gratitude. She gets along well with other calm, friendly dogs & would thrive in a peaceful home where she can continue to feel safe. She is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash & enjoys a predictable routine. She’s not a high-energy dog—she’d much rather keep you company on a cozy afternoon than be in the middle of a noisy crowd. She may have had a rough start, but she’s ready for a new life filled with love, stability & kindness. If you have a soft spot for the underdog & a quiet home to share, Elsa could be your perfect match!
