Story
Comet was a rescue dog who is now about six years old. He’s affectionate, energetic and playful, but also a territorial and doesn’t like to be left alone. As our kids have gotten older and schedules have gotten busier we can’t give him the attention he needs. He would need a home with activity and attention.

Story
Jax is a 5-year-old Pit Bull/Australian Cattle Dog mix that we adopted from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Conroe, Texas, when he was about 7 months old. He is incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with his people. He loves squeaky toys, going for walks, and spending time with his family. He’s also a great companion around the house and enjoys relaxing after he’s had some exercise. We are looking for a home with an experienced dog owner who understands reactive dogs and is willing to continue working with him. Jax can be fearful and reactive around strangers, especially men and fast-moving people such as cyclists, so he needs careful introductions and ongoing management. Because of this, he would do best in an adult-only home with no young children and someone who can provide a structured environment. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we want to find him a home where he can be successful and get the attention and experience he deserves.

I'm not sure on his breed. I don't want to take him to a pound. He is a big baby. He has a very loud and aggressive bark. He is a good dog I'm hoping someone takes a chance to adopt him. He is smart and very trainable.

Hiya! My name is Maggie. I am a sweet girl who needs extra loves. I was left out in the cold but someone saw me and took me in. I am now safe and warm. I am a happy girl who loves to get out and take walks or hang out with you. I know how to sit on command but I do get excited and get back up. I do fine with other dogs and with kids. No cats for me. I will not leave them alone. I would love to find a loving home to actually stay at forever. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Story
Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids. Any additional information about me please ask the people in the office. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
